[name]Hi[/name] I’m new! [name]Ive[/name] been stalking the forums for a while to find names for our 3rd boy who is due in about 3 weeks! We have two boys already, 3 year old [name]Sam[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] and a nearly 2 year old called [name]Finn[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]. We’re not sure whether we want to stick with the 1 syllable theme but a lot of the names that we like are one syllable.
the middle name is going to be [name]David[/name] after my grandfather and so far we like the names:
[name]Max[/name]
[name]Lewis[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] (I really love this but OH isnt sure)
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Micah[/name]
[name]Joe[/name] (Maybe even [name]Jonah[/name] or [name]Joseph[/name])

But we cant really agree on any. OH says we should just take this list with us and decide when we see him but I’m worried that we still wont be able to agree on a name even then! I really want [name]Lewis[/name], [name]Peter[/name] or [name]Oliver[/name] but OH really wants [name]Max[/name], [name]Micah[/name] or [name]Noah[/name]. Ahhhh! :S

When I first read your post, the first name that came to mind was [name]Jack[/name] [name]David[/name]. I love [name]Jack[/name] with [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Finn[/name]!

I really like [name]Jack[/name]! OH vetoed it when we were naming [name]Finn[/name] but I might bring it up again! He’s mentioned that he liked [name]Jax[/name] so maybe he’ll like [name]Jack[/name] now
Our of the names on your like I like [name]Noah[/name] best paired with [name]David[/name], but I also like [name]Lewis[/name] and [name]Peter[/name].

As for the one syllable theme, I would love to continue it because I think a sibset of [name]Sam[/name], [name]Finn[/name] & [name]Jack[/name] or [name]Sam[/name], [name]Finn[/name] & [name]Max[/name]/[name]Miles[/name] would be really awesome but we want more children and I’m scared we’ll get stuck in a theme with no way out! If we like a one syllable name that much then we’ll go for it though. I think I’m over thinking it, to be honest.
We have a girls name picked out incase it turns out to be a girl (which took us about 1 day to agree on haha!), which is [name]Lila[/name] [name]Esme[/name], and we’d like to use that for a future baby girl if we ever have one so I think that may be why I want a name that isn’t one syllable, so [name]Lila[/name] doesn’t stick out if we ever use it. (Although [name]Sam[/name], [name]Finn[/name], [name]Miles[/name] & [name]Lila[/name] is pretty cute)

As much as we do love all of these I do think that [name]Max[/name] & [name]Noah[/name] are our top contenders right now, the sibsets of [name]Sam[/name], [name]Finn[/name] & [name]Max[/name] and [name]Sam[/name], [name]Finn[/name] & [name]Noah[/name] both make me smile I’m sure OH will change his mind tomorrow and say he wants something completely different like [name]Peregrine[/name] or [name]Wolfgang[/name], knowing him he probably would :rolleyes:

So from your list I like [name]Max[/name] [name]David[/name]. I also like any of the ones starting in J. Nn can be JD. Perhaps [name]James[/name] or [name]Jett[/name]?
I think it would be great if all the boys were one syllable names and then girls are [name]Lila[/name] and another two syllable name ending in A…if you have that many children
I love [name]Miles[/name] with [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Finn[/name], but with [name]David[/name] as a mn, it makes me think of [name]Miles[/name] [name]Davis[/name]. I also like [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Kirk[/name] with [name]David[/name].

Knowing that you want to use [name]Lila[/name] in the future, you might want to cross [name]Leo[/name] off (unless it is your absolute favorite name) to avoid use the L initial twice. Also, knowing about [name]Lila[/name] opens the door to me thinking about short two syllable names for (the shortness fits well with your sons names and the two syllables work well with [name]Lila[/name].)
