[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries! [name_m]New[/name_m] here, and I need help. My husband and I are expecting our second child – I am pretty sure it’s another boy. Our first son is [name_m]Weston[/name_m], mn [name_u]Walker[/name_u], after my husband’s grandfather [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u]. We loved the cowboy-ish feel of [name_m]Weston[/name_m], and want to carry this over to our second son. We want to honor my grandfather this time, with the middle name [name_m]Leon[/name_m] or [name_m]Roger[/name_m].
Names we like: [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m], [name_m]Tanner[/name_m], [name_m]Miller[/name_m], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_m]Lowell[/name_m]. My husband loves [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], but I’m worried [name_m]Weston[/name_m] and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] sounds a bit too trendy? Any thoughts? Suggestions? MUCH appreciated!!
My favorites would be [name_m]Tucker[/name_m], [name_m]Austin[/name_m], [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_m]Brody[/name_m], [name_u]Chase[/name_u], and [name_m]Travis[/name_m].
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] - Nice, a bit to trendy for my liking and not really ‘cowboy’ to me.
[name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] - SO neat and different! I love unique names!
[name_m]Tanner[/name_m] - Nice and more on the cowboy/rustic feel like [name_m]Weston[/name_m]
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - Not a huge fan for a boy, just because I know I would call him ‘[name_f]Millie[/name_f]’/’[name_f]Milly[/name_f]’ which sounds a bit girly
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] - Very nice but more ‘old English’ to me then ‘Cowboy’ if that is what you are going for.
[name_m]Lowell[/name_m] - Never heard this as a person’s name, my aunt lives in ‘[name_m]New[/name_m] [name_m]Lowell[/name_m]’ so that is what it makes me think of. Would you call him ‘Low’ ‘lowey’ or ‘Lowely’ if you nicknamed him though?
In terms of how they go with the middle names I like:
[name_m]Tanner[/name_m] [name_m]Leon[/name_m] (As [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] [name_m]Roger[/name_m] sounds too rhymey)
And [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] [name_m]Roger[/name_m] is kinda neat as it echoes ‘[name_m]Weston[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u]’
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helps - love that you have lots of unique options!
