This is where me and the lovely @cara_murvolio discuss our character concepts.
Lindsey Nicole Lloyd (22) is an American young woman living in Pittsburgh. She loves singing, dancing, and theater. She also loves animals, especially dogs. She currently works in a nursing home.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m] (19) is Lindsey’s younger sister. She’s a gymnast working on a professional level - havingbbeen scouted when she was 17 - and shares a close bond with her big sister. [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] sometimes worries about a rift forming thanks to her travelling constantly, so she makes sure to see [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u] as much as possible. She’s less outgoing than [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u] and prefers to bury herself in practice - although she does love going hiking to relax when she gets some down time. For her sisters recent birthday she’s getting her a puppy: a rescue [name_m]Springer[/name_m] Spaniel named [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] - who’s currently being hidden away at their parents house as to not spoil the surprise.
Kayla Elaine Quella (23) is Morgan’s co worker. She is a world champion jump roper, and loves to show off in front of her friends.
[name_u]Zenith[/name_u] “Zen” [name_f]Magda[/name_f] Weymond (23) is Kayla’s girlfriend, the couple having just celebrated their second anniversary. A model and Instagram influencer, Zen’s nature lines up with her nickname, being a very easygoing and laidback person. She’s originally from [name_m]Portland[/name_m] and has a small family - with it just being her mom, older brother and herself after the sudden passing of her father, and Kayla’s family are treated as her own too. [name_u]Zen[/name_u] loves lizards and has a pet bearded dragon named [name_m]Sargent[/name_m] who she regularly takes photos with, coordinating her makeup with his scales. Recently, she’s been thinking about asking [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] to take the next big step and inviting her to move in - but she doesn’t want to rush anything.
Helen Mae Hillard (13) is Zen’s little cousin. She was named after her great aunt who passed away before she was born. She also loves to sing and considers herself as a gospel singer at her church.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Erin[/name_f] Weymond (3) is Helen’s little cousin and Zen’s niece, being the daughter of her big brother. She looks up to her older relatives so much and always wants to emulate them - but her parents are the people she loves more than anything. [name_m]Art[/name_m] is something Ophelia’s taken a shine to and she loves creating masterpieces using her hands and acrylic paint - which her dad hails as masterpieces.

Kyle: 
James Oliver Tines (1) is the second son of William Reid Tines (28), Ophelia’s preschool teacher. James is a happy youngster who enjoys being around his family and their two dogs. James is most attached to his older brother, Kyle Jackson Tines (4). Kyle is very cheerful, much like his brother. Kyle loves playing with his toy trucks and running with his friends at the neighborhood playground.
[name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] Catherton (28) is [name_u]James[/name_u] and Kyle’s mother and William’s partner. The couple met at university where she was studying botanical sciences, now working in a plant nursery and tropical flora center - as well as being a keen florist in her spare time, who uses flower language to communicate her feelings. She’s an easygoing, bright young woman who loves spending time with her family going for picnics or going on impromptu outings - loving nothing more than to see her kids and partner happy. Demi’s close to her younger sister as well, and she kindly gifted the family their first pet: a lovely Persian cat whom they’ve named Fluffball - “Fluff” for short. When she has a moment to herself, she loves going on bike rides with her best friend or lazing about, enjoying a new audiobook.
Aytaç Terzi Yılmaz [28] is Demi’s best friend. She recently got married! Aytaç is a hijabi fashion influencer, and uses her platform to try and fight against Islamophobia in a loving and kind manner. She and Demi met at the University of Oklahoma, where they were roommates! Aytaç’s parents immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey, and she speaks both Turkish and English.
[name_f]Nuray[/name_f] [name_f]Ceyda[/name_f] Yılmaz (24) is Aytaç’s younger sister and a trainee architect who’s just gotten her first placement following graduating from university. She’s bilingual like the rest of her family and is proud of her older sisters’ work, being involved in campaigning herself throughout school and doing her best to educate others to move past their prejudice and assumptions. [name_f]Demi[/name_f] was head bridesmaid at Aytaç’s wedding and [name_f]Nuray[/name_f] was best woman, an arrangement both women were more than happy with! [name_f]Nuray[/name_f] is bisexual and has been with her girlfriend for 2 years - with the pair having recently adopted a Norwegian [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_f]Cat[/name_f] together named [name_u]Virgil[/name_u], who they adore.
Brooklyn Shandrell McInnis [26] is Nuray’s girlfriend. Brooklyn just graduated from university with her bachelor’s in creative writing. She and Nuray met as roommates freshman year, and moved in together platonically at first. Slowly but surely, they began to fall in love, and started dating their junior year. Now that they’ve graduated, Brooklyn is planning to propose when Nuray becomes an official architect.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] " [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] " [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] Levisham (26) is Brooklyn’s best friend and confident in her plans about proposing to [name_f]Nuray[/name_f]. Minnie’s a model - having received more traction in the past year - who’s just returned from attending a series of shows in [name_u]Milan[/name_u], and has invited some of her friends back to stay at her place. She’s known [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] since they were 6 and she regularly stuck up for both herself and [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] when they faced bullying or prejudice - as [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] was always a shy, reserved person. Outside of her work, she enjoys experimenting with fashion and visiting historical sites - something that helps her feel closer to her late granddad, who helped raise her thanks to her parents working long hours.
Violet Delilah Levisham [30] is Minnie’s big sister. She is a photographer, often focusing on self-portrait and photos of her family. She’s married, with two young children. Recently, she took her children and Minnie on a road trip to historical sites they’d visited with their grandfather, in order to try and share his legacy with the kids.
[name_m]Raul[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] [name_m]Fuentes[/name_m] (32) is Violet’s husband and a fellow visual artist who works as a videographer. They’ve been together since meeting at university and Raul’s devoted to his wife, having nothing but respect for her closeness to her family - as he grew up in foster care and has done all he can to ensure his children never feel rejected or unwanted; emotions he struggled with throughout most of his teens. He’s an avid swimmer and climber, taking [name_f]Violet[/name_f] on dates in scenic places when they have a chance to hire a babysitter. Recently he surprised her for her birthday with a [name_f]Tabby[/name_f] kitten, who their children have named [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].
Alejandra Isabella Fuentes [29] is Raul’s little sister. She likes to go on trips with her brother, but while he climbs, she prefers to take walks and lounge around the base of the cliff. They both enjoy swimming, though. Alejandra is a personal trainer and lives and works in Oklahoma City. She loves to babysit Raul and Violet’s children and play with Autumn.
[name_f]Xiomara[/name_f] " Zee-Zee " [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_m]Fuentes[/name_m] (11 months) is [name_m]Raul[/name_m] and Violet’s younger child and Alejandra’s niece. [name_m]Born[/name_m] in the spring time, this seems to have been carried into her nature, as Zee-Zee loves being outdoors and flowers are especially captivating to her - followed by butterflies. She loves getting attention from her aunt and always wants to follow her big sibling and parents around. Sometimes, when she’s napping in her bassinet on the floor, [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] curls up beside her in a protective stance.
Elizabeth “Buffy” Violetta Crane (22) is Zee-Zee’s babysitter. Buffy is in school for early childhood education. She’s a theatre kid and writer. Growing up as an only child forced Buffy to have a highly active imagination, which trickled over into their writing. Buffy uses she/they pronouns and currently lives on campus, but has a white Schnauzer back at home named Bruno.
[name_m]Ibrahim[/name_m] " [name_m]Bram[/name_m] " [name_m]Roland[/name_m] Callington (23) is Buffy’s boyfriend. In contrast to her, he comes from a large family, being the second youngest of 5 kids. He’s a doting uncle to his nieces and nephews - as two of his older siblings have children of their own now - and admittedly worries that his job in modelling doesn’t set the best example on account of the work being infrequent for some, and revolving around the complex beauty industry. Bram’s always very encouraging towards Buffy’s creativity and loves hearing about her musings, a trait shared by his siblings kids. Between his modelling jobs, [name_m]Bram[/name_m] dogsits frequently and plans on getting one of his own - once he’s found the right landlord of course.
