My d-i-l is expecting twin girls. She made it to 38 weeks on [name]Monday[/name] (yesterday). She had an appt today and they will induce her labor on Thursday if she doesn’t deliver before then. They told her weeks ago she would most likely deliver early but she has now been walking around for several weeks dilated 1-3 cm, 90 % effaced, cervix down low , and having light contractions. No amount of walking, etc. has put her into labor on her own yet so it looks like it is inevitable. My mom was just diagnosed with a brain tumor and I will need to take her 40 miles away to be seen by neurologists at a larger hospital to determine treatment. There is just too much going on right now. I will be babysitting their older children (that they have custody of-her niece and nephew) while she is in the hospital as well as caring for my own 5 year old daughter. The children are 4 and 2. I am already wore out with excitement, anxiety, etc. over all of the situations I am facing. Please pray for me and my family. Thank you in advance.
Oh, [name]Honey[/name], I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. So, so sorry…I pray that everything goes well at the appointment. Your mom is lucky to have such a sweet, caring daughter.
Your daughter-in-law is in my prayers, too, I hope you’ll come back to share the happy news when the babies are born. ([name]How[/name] cool that [name]Liberty[/name] is going to be an aunt!)
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, Unie.
Dear Uni
You have my fervent prayers and I will continue to keep the whole family in my prayers.
You are a supermom, supergran and superdaughter all rolled into one. You will need tons of energy so look after yourself and take rests when you can, and eat well, something we tend to ignore when we are so busy and stressed.
I am very sorry to hear of your mother’s illness.
I hope that other family members or good friends can help you out as you must be stretched to the limit.
God Bless and please let us know when the twins arrive.
love rollo
You are just lovely! What a beautiful and wonderful caretaker you are! [name]Do[/name] not be afraid, everything will work out in God’s own time, for his own plan and purpose.
I am praying for you and all the angels who inhabit your life! Yourself included.
Blessings,

[name]Hope[/name] things are going better now…I’ll pray for sure.
Thanks ladies! You’ve blessed my day. I am in the birthing suite waiting room right now. My son brought the laptop for me. They broke twin A’s water a little bit ago and things are starting to pick up some. [name]Just[/name] keep praying for us all. We received some more bad news last night but I can’t go into that right now. I am emotionally overwhelmed and stressed right now. They are only allowing two support people with her right now, so my son and her adopted sister are with her. I had hoped to see the birth but she chose “sis” so I am just patiently waiting. My daughter is at preschool right now. I will post as soon as possible vafter they arrive.
Uni thanks for posting again. My prayers are with you and your family.
Blessings

I’m so sorry to hear things are not going well, but I am sure they will work out in the end You sound like an amazing person taking care of all those other people - I am sure they more than appreciate it. I’m sending good thoughts to you and I hope things get better soon.
Ladies,
Thank you again. My 5 year old and her niece and nephew are playing right now. The babies arrived by c-section about 10 p.m. on the 22nd. My d-i-l never progressed past 5 cm. dilated so they made the decision to operate. The twin girls are fraternal and I left a birth announcement at that board. The babies are beautiful. I have seen two glances of them so far but haven’t got to hold them yet because of taking care of the older children they have custody of. Hoping to get to do some “grandma spoiling” soon with the twins. She is nursing and both seem to be good feeders. The smallest was born weighing 5 lbs. 15 oz. and 18 in. and the largest is 6 lbs 12 oz and 18 1/2 in.
Wonderful, wonderful news, how fortunate that the girls are such a good birth weight.
I am so happy that the girls are feeding well because with our little [name]Xanthe[/name] not feeding well at all it makes feeding twice the problem.
All the best!
