Something about [name]Avalon[/name] [name]Nova[/name] strikes me as brilliant - although I’m not usually a fan of either name, and put together in a combo they feel a bit too…sci-fi? for my usual tastes. [name]Aspen[/name] I had never thought of as a girls’ name before, but it strikes me as pretty in theory. Multiple Olivias, Hannahs and Jacobs are to be expected, of course, but that won’t ever stop me from enjoying the former two names (though I’d probably have to banish them to the middle-name slot if I ever got around to actually using them).
And, oh, [name]Gabe[/name], [name]Brooks[/name], [name]Sutton[/name] and [name]Beau[/name]! [name]How[/name]…Southern-Gothically handsome.
I’m in high school now, here are some more original names from my school:
Girls:
Caiya
[name]Toni[/name] (full name)
Trammi
[name]Star[/name]
[name]Gwynne[/name]
Audris
[name]Shay[/name]
[name]Rory[/name]
Jensena
We didn’t really have any “oddball” names in my high school…accept for a girl named Shettwan…it was mostly common names (ex. [name]Haley[/name]/Halei/[name]Hayley[/name]; [name]Sara[/name]/[name]Sarah[/name]; [name]Hannah[/name]/[name]Hanna[/name], etc.). It’s like that in every grade level. Interesting thing about the boy names in each level though…so many share the same name in each grade. Each level has about a hundred kids, and the gender is split fairly closely even… So like in the ninth grade, there where 10/46 boys named [name]Cody[/name], 12 [name]Alexander[/name], 8 [name]Daniel[/name], etc…
I’m in high scholl now, and I sport one of the more unusual names of ‘[name]Damaris[/name]’. some other uncommon ones:
[name]Regen[/name] (after the town in germany)
Sophica
[name]Corvin[/name]
Eddon
Amelene
Priyanka
[name]Holt[/name]
