A friend of mine has just welcomed twins, a delivery surprise, born at 31 weeks.
First born is [name]Lenny[/name] [name]Vernon[/name] weighing 4lbs 2oz
Second born is [name]Chrissy[/name] [name]Violet[/name] weighing 3lbs 11oz
Mum & bubs are doing well, and the names are all family names. Not my taste, but if you met this couple you would know that these names are just as quirky and wonderful as they are 
[name]Lenny[/name] and [name]Chrissy[/name] are ok. I would have preferred to see [name]Lennox[/name] and [name]Christabel[/name] though.
Not my style either but I like the fn “y” endings and V middle names. Similar but not to matchy. Congratulations to them!

Yikes, 31 weeks and previously unrecognized twins? I hope they’re ok… They’re actually a very, very good size (you could have expected babies that only weighed half that much).
The nickname-as-given-name trend hasn’t really made much headway in the US yet, but they are sweet as a set.
