I’m looking for some names that have some usage in Germany or [name_m]German[/name_m] origins that compliment the Italian [name_f]Amara[/name_f]. I have no clue what goes since I usually like vintage names. All the things I am coming up with are too similar or rhyme. Also still try to come up with an [name_f]Amara[/name_f] nn.
Previous ideas:
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] to honour my grandmother.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Liana[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelina[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Elisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]/Emmelina or even just [name_f]Emmy[/name_f].
[name_f]Gisela[/name_f]
Any ideas? Thanks!
Going by behindthename.com, all these names all have [name_m]German[/name_m] usage. Lots of them are [name_m]German[/name_m] variants of other names. The starred ones are names that truly have Germanic origins, from what I could tell.

[name_f]Sabine[/name_f] (also so beautiful with [name_f]Amara[/name_f]!)

[name_f]Swanhild[/name_f]/a*
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Zella[/name_f]
[name_f]Zilla[/name_f] (love these last three with [name_f]Amara[/name_f] too, although they were originally meant as nicknames, I think they work well on their own)
All the best!
I love the suggestion of [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] with [name_f]Amara[/name_f]. I think something vintage and quintessentially [name_m]German[/name_m] like [name_f]Ida[/name_f] would be very cute with [name_f]Amara[/name_f] as well and stick with your style.
I’m a fan of [name_f]Greta[/name_f] which is [name_m]German[/name_m] but popular in [name_f]Italy[/name_f].
[name_f]Amara[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] would be nice for sisters. [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] is another good option.
