A girl after twin boys! NEED HELP with our revised list :)!

Thanks so much for your help yesterday on our last thread! We realized a lot of the names we had on our first list were very nicknamed and didn’t stand strong with our twin boys’ names, [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name].
We’ve revised our list a lot and would love opinions on it!
We’re trying to honor the following people with the middle name: [name]Sylvia[/name], [name]Mariella[/name], [name]Josie[/name], [name]Annabel[/name], or [name]Lillian[/name]

Our boys are [name]Chester[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name].
Their little sister should be named…

[name]Lucille[/name] [name]Arabella[/name]- We originally had [name]Lucy[/name] on our list, but it felt too popular and too short with our boys’ names. We love the vintage charm of [name]Lucille[/name], and the nickname [name]Lucy[/name]! I’m not sure about [name]Arabella[/name] with it (too many L’s?), and we’re open to other suggestions!

[name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Maren[/name] or [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Lilah[/name]- I absolutely adore [name]Dorothy[/name]! And I love the nickname [name]Dottie[/name] even more! I think this is definitely a front runner right now. I’m not sure if I like [name]Lilah[/name] or [name]Maren[/name] more with it, though!

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]- [name]Ruby[/name] is a name we kept from our previous list. I really love it’s simple charm an the way it sounds with the twins’ names. I’m worried about it’s popularity, though. But I love [name]Anneliese[/name] with it! This one is definitely DH’s favorite, too.

[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name]- I love [name]Matilda[/name], and the nicknames [name]Milly[/name] or [name]Tilly[/name]! I really, really like this combo. I think [name]Matilda[/name] is quirky enough to stand against [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name]. I think it sounds cute with [name]Sylvie[/name], too!

[name]Joanna[/name] [name]Lilith[/name]- [name]Joanna[/name] has been one of my favorite names since I was little! I love it’s vintage charm, and one of my favorite songs is [name]Joanna[/name] by McFly (cheesy, I know!). I think [name]Lilith[/name] makes it sound very vintage, but the combo is still spunky.

I really like a lot of your options! [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name] is my favorite (she’s so sweet and stunningly girly!), and there’s the fun nns of Roo/[name]Rue[/name] or [name]Bea[/name] to go with it. [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name], nn [name]Tilly[/name], would be my second pick. I also adore your MN options of [name]Arabella[/name] and [name]Maren[/name], but I’m not as keen on the FNs–would you consider [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Maren[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Arabella[/name]?

I like [name]Harriet[/name], but DH doesn’t :(. I love the nickname [name]Hattie[/name], too!

I love the suggestion of [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Arabella[/name] :). We’ll keep that one in mind.

[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name] is completely my favorite! I agree that [name]Matilda[/name] does have a very distinct sound with your boys’ names. Plus, the name is unique and yet elegant. As a dancer, I am a tad biased towards the name [name]Sylvie[/name]:slight_smile:

I really like [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]! It think it sounds great with your boys names. [name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] sound like perfect twins btw :slight_smile: I like [name]Joanna[/name] [name]Lilith[/name] a lot too but [name]Lilith[/name] is not my favorite, what about [name]Joanna[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]?

[name]Lillian[/name] is the name of DH’s grandma that we’re trying to honor. With our bid we used different forms of the names of our fathers ([name]Abraham[/name] and [name]Nathan[/name]), do I wouldn’t want to use [name]Lillian[/name] directly. [name]Lilith[/name] was the only version besides [name]Lily[/name] that sounded good with [name]Joanna[/name] to me :(. But thank you so much!!

[name]Chester[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] are wonderful. My favorite from your list is [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name]. I think [name]Matilda[/name] goes very well with the boys’ names and [name]Milly[/name] is adorable. [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name] is beautiful also but I know quite a few girls named [name]Ruby[/name] and only 1 [name]Matilda[/name]. [name]Hope[/name] to hear what you choose.

Thank you for all the compliments on our twins’ names :)! We got a lot of negative feedback from family when we told them the names we had chosen for our boys. But we stuck with the names, and now no one can picture any other name for them. The quirkiness of the names fits them perfectly!

oh, I just love your boys names!!! I have been looking for a funky vintage name to go with my other boys ([name]Rupert[/name] and [name]Archie[/name]) - and I am just LOVING [name]Chester[/name] - its fabulous!
…anyway, enough doting on your boys… I also love your whole girls list!!! There are none I dont like, and it is tough to separate them…
[name]Lucille[/name] [name]Arabella[/name]- I love [name]Lucille[/name], and the nn [name]Lulu[/name] - thats on our list… It just makes me think of [name]Lucille[/name] Ball (of silent movie days - not that I was actually old enough to see them)…

[name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Maren[/name] or [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Lilah[/name]- This is very pretty. I prefer the name [name]Lilah[/name], but I think I like the flow with [name]Maren[/name] better…

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]- [name]Ruby[/name] is also a name I love, but it is on the top 10 list here, so thats why i wouldnt choose it (otherwise I would). I just wonder if it is not different enough to stand beside your boys…

[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name]- I like matilda but just think “waltzing [name]Matilda[/name]”, and as I am not australian, it just isnt my favourite… I adore sylvie though!

[name]Joanna[/name] [name]Lilith[/name]- I really like this again, but, as with [name]Ruby[/name], I just wonder if your girl needs to be as funky as your boys!!!

From your list my favorite is [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Maren[/name]! I sounds so adorable but yet strong too! And again the nn [name]Dottie[/name] is wonderful! [name]Lilah[/name] is aslo a great middle name but the look of [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Maren[/name] I just love it more!
