A “griffin” to go with our “bear”

I’m a bit late in announcing, but in late [name_f]September[/name_f] we welcomed our second son: [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_m]Griffith[/name_m]! He joins big brother [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Bernard[/name_m], who we often call [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. Both middles are family names, and, turns out, so is [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. It’s unsurprising since we both have Scottish ancestry. I like how both boys get a strong “animal” in the middle. So far, I call him [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], Lachie MacLachlan, Lockster, and Grifflet. Thank you, Nameberries, for all your feedback in his naming process!

Congratulations and what fun names your sons have!

Great choice! [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Bernard[/name_m] and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] go so nicely together, too. Many congratulations!

Fabulous names!

Congratulations! I love [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] and [name_m]Callum[/name_m] and they make a wonderful sibset.

Thanks everyone!

@katinka and @wandsworth, you both commented back on one of my early posts, both championing [name_m]Finbarr[/name_m], which I appreciated! My husband has brother-friends who are [name_m]Callum[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u], however, so it was too close without another name in the mix. I still love it so it will stay on the list if we have another kiddo.

@whatchamacallit your sons have great names too!

Your boys have such wonderful names! I love [name_m]Callum[/name_m] and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] together - so handsome and sweet!
Congratulations!!

Congratulations ! He has a handsome name, which goes so wonderfully with brother’s name. Loving your taste!

I adore [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] and fits so perfectly with his brother!
