A letter makes big difference.

I cant decide which I like the best.

[name_m]Clive[/name_m] or [name_m]Clyde[/name_m], and why?

A letter does make a big difference! [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] gmv - I like the clear, bright sound of it, I like the association with the river, I like how you don’t really hear it

[name_m]Clive[/name_m] sounds so much cooler to me. It really doesn’t make any good sense, but [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] sounds like a grumpy old farm man, where as [name_m]Clive[/name_m] sounds like a fresh cool cowboy. There’s just something about the ‘v’.

Also! [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] is fairly steady in the 700s in popularity, whereas [name_m]Clive[/name_m] is no where to be found in the top 1,000. So, it’s more unique, which is nice.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I personally prefer [name_m]Clive[/name_m] over [name_m]Clyde[/name_m].

[name_m]Clive[/name_m] looks too much like [name_f]Olive[/name_f] to me, and [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] is all [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] & [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] so…I guess I’d pick [name_m]Clyde[/name_m].

[name_m]Clyde[/name_m] reminds me of the teenaged character with the same name from [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Adventures, while [name_m]Clive[/name_m] seems more like an old man name. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone called either. Due to the younger association, I much prefer [name_m]Clyde[/name_m]

Thank you all very much for your comments and thoughts :hugs:.
