[name_m]Ned[/name_m] is a nickname we’ve loved for years and we liked the gentlemanly bearing of [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] over [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. We waited until the eleventh hour to settle on a middle name, but my husband was a big [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] booster early in the pregnancy and he, with the help of a few nameberry polls, broke the logjam.

The name combo means “immortal protector of wealth.” With four kids under 7 years old we’ll need the extra protection.
