I’ve come to the final realisation that coming from a culture where repeating names is very uncommon because we happen to be really close to cousins (at least until 3rd gen with the odd ones a bit further down in certain instances) quite a lot of names I like I wouldn’t use (not only culturally but also because people I’m close to used them) and also the 2nd language I speak messes up even some of my favourite names (and I use this language on a daily basis and would hope for it to be carried down so I’m looking for names that sound good in it) . Therefore I’m missing out on a lot of names I like so help me fall in love with the 3 realistic names remaining (middle names are uncommon in our culture but maybe I’ll break the rules and demote some of my favourites that can’t be used) - I really like these names but there is a part of me that feels like I’m missing out on others - names are [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] being a 3rd option but I don’t think it goes well with the other 2 which is a shame since I’ve always loved the nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] (other 2 nns are [name_u]Coco[/name_u] - unlikely to use a nn for this one but just a thought and Millie). 3…2…1… Throw your thoughts on my dilemma and only accepable sibset
Those are lovely sibling names, all three combos, and I’m very picky! The nicknames work well together too! I think you have a good list going.
I also like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurore[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] or [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Aurore[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] goes nicely with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u]! It might be a bit matchy with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] but I wouldn’t mind that a lot. Stylistically, they are similar to me.
[name_f]My[/name_f] family doesn’t use middle names either and I’m still contemplating whether or not to use, but I think it is good to have middles since you have another name to go by. All three names are feminine and sweet and I don’t think you can miss with any of them.
All three are lovely and go great together!
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] - classic, bright, sweet and sturdy. [name_u]Coco[/name_u] makes a fun nickname and also draws it closer to Aurora/Rory
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] - elegant, strong and sleek.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] - starry yet grounded. I think it works fine - [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is popular/familiar enough these days
Honestly I think they go together fine! [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] // [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_u]Coco[/name_u] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] sound so good!
love them together!! sweet set of sisters.
