As a standalone, I prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is very lovely too though, and as a bonus you could nickname her [name_f]Liv[/name_f] so you get to use both in a way.
My favourite sibset would be [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m].
Definitely [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is one of my most hated names. I do not see the appeal at all.
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] is short and sweet
I absolutely love love Olive! Gorgeous!!! A beautiful name for a beautiful girl.
The olive tree is just beautiful and I love the meaning behind it…the Olive tree is a symbol of peace and abundance…grow and flourish in rocky soils where other plants cannot and I love the vintage, spunky, nature vibe to the name. It’s so charming. I think it’s a name that is so sweet for a child and beautiful for an adult.
Elliot, Olive, and Felix is adorable…
I think both are beautiful and I would suggest naming her [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and you would still have the option of [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as a nickname to call her even occasionally, if you choose. Perfect bonus as it has a built-in nickname that you love as well!
Looks like we have a very similar taste in names. We have an [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and are strongly considering [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. (Also love [name_u]August[/name_u]).
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a great name with a great meaning and [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is a wonderful nickname. I’d go with that. [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] are a very well paired sib set. [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] makes [name_f]Liv[/name_f] look a little unfinished to me. So, I’d go with [name_f]Olive[/name_f] with nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f].
I really don’t like [name_f]Liv[/name_f], but I love [name_f]Olive[/name_f]! I think the English [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] looks better and has a better chance of being pronounced correctly.
I think I prefer [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and [name_m]Nils[/name_m], but I’ll note that I did have to look up [name_m]Nils[/name_m] to be sure of how it was pronounced.
I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a gorgeous name, but I would advise against using the combination of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and any [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] variation. A noxious invasive shrub in the greater part of the US is the [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. If I met an [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] I would think their name unfortunate. But most probably wouldn’t see the connection to the weed.
Thank you for your comments!
@Oliveshoot: We do have similar taste in names! I like your children’s names, they are wonderful. I also love several names from your signature.
@[name_f]Trina[/name_f]: I agree with you. After [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_f]Liv[/name_f] sounds a little bit unfinished. As long as I could use [name_f]Liv[/name_f], I would be happy.
@Moontrees: I did not know about the shrub. From what I read on internet, there is no negative connection about it?
We could add [name_f]Maxine[/name_f]. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] Automne or [name_f]Olive[/name_f] Automne [name_f]Maxine[/name_f].
I think we are leaning towards [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. We actually have a name that we both like, I’m so happy!
I wish you all the best for 2017!
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] all the way! What a beautiful sibset. I always prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f] to [name_f]Olive[/name_f], but [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is also not a bad choice.
I prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f] to [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. It feels more youthful. I think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is a very balanced, cohesive sibset.
