Despite the sadness, some of the kids have some happier news. [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] develops her first crush, on a boy in her class named [name_m]Kristoff[/name_m]. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] excels at gym class at school and her teacher tells her to try out for a sport team of her choice. [name_f]Selena[/name_f]'s daycare teachers have noted that she loves spending time playing around other kids. Since they live in a small town, he doesn’t have many other employment opportunities, and with eight kids, money is tight. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] picks up as many extra shifts at the restaurant as she can, but it isn’t enough.

[name_f]Morgana[/name_f] has been struggling at school, and after a visit to the optometrist, they know why. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] gets a new imaginary friend, named Sidnina, who often tries to prevent her from doing her chores. [name_f]Selena[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] become very close, and can often be found whispering in their own secret language.

Year Thirteen: Things have been hard in the Fawcett family, and it’s put a strain on [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m]'s relationship. With all their recent troubles, [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] recently separated, splitting responsibilities and time with the kids equally. However, after a couple of months apart, they were able to resolve their issues and reconnect, and now their reltionship is stronger than ever.

After a lot of after hours education from her grandparents, [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] has learned to love and understand art, and has really started to excel at it at school. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] has been having difficulties learning with her current teacher, due to a clash in learning styles. However, her teacher is very dedicated and has taken extra time to help [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] work on her learning issues, putting her back on track. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] has another broken bone, this time breaking his leg after trying to do a big jump on his bike. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] starts wearing glasses, and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] is convinced he only needs them because he reads so often. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] gets diagnosed with epilepsy after having a seizure during daycare. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] starts having bad nightmares because he is worried about his sister [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]'s health with these scary new seizures. [name_f]Selena[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] draw all over the kitchen walls in permanent markers, and no matter what [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] do they can’t get it off!

Year Fourteen: Unfortunately, the family rabbits, [name_u]Poe[/name_u] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u], die at the ripe old age of 11. The kids are very upset, so in order to cheer them up, [name_m]Byron[/name_m] goes to the local pound and picks them up a Beagle puppy. The kids are beyond thrilled, and name the little beagle Leafkicker after seeing him frolic in the leaves.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] hasn’t been herself recently, so [name_u]Josie[/name_u] decided to take her to the doctor, who diagnosed her with depression. She now sees a psychologist, and is starting to feel a little bit better. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] gets into a fight with a kid at school named [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] when she picks on her younger brother, [name_u]Sterling[/name_u], for being a “nerd”. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] gets his first ever crush on a girl named [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f], who’s on the soccer team with him. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] surprises everyone when he cuts all his hair off one day, saying that he feels like it just gets in his way when he is reading or studying. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] has been struggling with her math classes at school, often finding a reason not to do her math homework. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and his brother [name_u]Remy[/name_u] start fighting a lot more often and appear to have started up a classic sibling rivalry. [name_f]Selena[/name_f] has taken a keen interest in her science toys and can often be found tinkering with a preschool chemistry set.

Year Fifteen: [name_u]Josie[/name_u] goes to her doctor for an annual check-up, and her doctor finds a lump in her breast. She has a series of tests done and is soon diagnosed with breast cancer. This comes as a complete surprise as she had no symptoms and did not suspect a thing. She takes some time off work in order to get her treatment done, and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] returns to work at a local bookstore.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] joins the school band to help her deal with her emotions surrounding her mother’s illness, and finds that she has a real talent for the violin. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] asks her mum to show her how to cook her signature recipes, and finds she has a real knack for cooking. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] is told he needs to wear glasses, but always seems to conveniently leave them at home when he goes out. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] has been hanging out with a new group, all of whom have their ears pierced, and he begs [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] to let him get his pierced as well. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] let him get his ears pierced because they are happy he has been spending time with people who aren’t [name_u]Roan[/name_u]. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] starts spending more time in the garden with [name_m]Byron[/name_m], and discovers that she has a budding green thumb. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] makes friends with a group of boys at school and often asks to see them on the weekends as well: [name_m]Kiefer[/name_m], [name_m]Lyndon[/name_m] and [name_m]Nash[/name_m]. [name_f]Selena[/name_f] gets into a fight with a girl named [name_f]Briar[/name_f] after [name_f]Briar[/name_f] beat her in a race which [name_f]Selena[/name_f] claims she cheated at. [name_u]Remy[/name_u] gets singled out as being very good at sports by his gym teacher.

[name_u]Josie[/name_u] returns to full time work, and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] goes part time at the book store so he can spend more time with the kids.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] comes out as bisexual after she has a crush on a girl in the school band. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] are very supportive of [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] during her coming out period. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] struggles with a music class she is taking, finding she can’t read music no matter how hard she tries. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] has grown close with his grandfather, [name_u]Josie[/name_u]'s father, as he babysits them regularly. They bond over their similar interests in music. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] takes up poetry as a new hobby to express his feelings. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] continues to struggle with math at school, so [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] have hired a tutor to help her. Year Seventeen: [name_u]Josie[/name_u]'s boss at the restaurant has been talking about retiring, and now she’s finally doing it! [name_u]Josie[/name_u] has the opportunity to take over the business, and so she and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] decide to buy the restaurant. [name_m]Byron[/name_m] operates the business side of things, and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] operates the kitchen. They rename the restaurant “Fawcett’s”.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] starts working as a server at Fawcett’s to make some extra money. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] joins the school’s soccer team and immediately does very well as the team’s striker. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] is struggling in his current class, due to learning differences with his teacher. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] request that he is switched into the same class as [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] and [name_u]Roan[/name_u] instantly does a lot better, and surprisingly so does [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] with the support of his brother. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] gains a newfound passion and talent for social studies. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]'s usually close relationship is challenged when [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] gets into a fight with one of [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]‘s good friends’, [name_m]Kiefer[/name_m]. [name_f]Selena[/name_f] asks everyone to start calling her [name_m]Lenny[/name_m], much to [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m]'s annoyance. [name_u]Remy[/name_u] is diagnosed with ADHD after a couple of years of learning difficulties.

Year Eighteen: Business at Fawcett’s has been booming, and everyone knows it! However, there is a downside to this, because Fawcett’s is broken into and robbed overnight. This significantly affects the family’s funds and they all have to be very frugal while they wait to see if their business insurance will cover it.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] decides to join the school newspaper in order to make her college applications look better, but ends up really loving it. [name_f]Melinda[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u]'s mother, fosters [name_f]Morgana[/name_f]'s creativity by introducing her to photography, which she really loves. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] falls very ill after he falls a cuts his leg deeply while playing. He didn’t tell his parents immediately because he was meant to be doing his homework, so over the next few days the cut remained dirty and became very infected at which pointed he got sepsis. He was very unwell for a couple of weeks, but fortunately made it through alive. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] will be wrapping him in bubble wrap from now on, however. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] is offered to skip a grade due to his advanced level, however he asks his parents if he can stay behind as he likes being in the same grade as his brother. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] think social development is very important, and so they allow him to remain in the same grade. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] reveals a real talent for art when her painting is presented as part of a school art fair. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is struggling to learn in his current class, and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] decide to send him to the local Catholic school as his current school doesn’t seem to suit him. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] does much better here. [name_f]Selena[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] get in a lot of trouble when they are caught trying to steal money from [name_u]Josie[/name_u]'s wallet. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_m]Byron[/name_m] decide to send all the quads to the Catholic school at the start of the next school year.

Year Nineteen: [name_m]Byron[/name_m] and the quads are in a car accident on the way home from school one day. Luckily, they only have a few bruises and scrapes, but the car is out of commission until they can afford to get it repaired.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] moves to [name_f]Atlanta[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] to attend [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] State University and study Biology. She moves into off-campus housing after having bad experiences with dorms. Her new roommates - [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_m]Hernando[/name_m] & [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_m]Vasco[/name_m] - are all classmates of hers that she gets along with really well. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] is putting up a good front, but she has been struggling since [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] left for college. She has been struggling more and more, and was recently diagnosed with OCD. She is being treated by a team of doctors and is hopeful for recovery. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] is diagnosed with Lupus after a series of unexplained debilitating symptoms that the doctor put down to “coincidence”. His Grandmother, [name_f]Melinda[/name_f], who also has this condition, has been a huge support during this time. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] and his friends have discovered slam poetry and go to the local coffee shops session every Friday night. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] has recently started performing. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] become very close again. [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] starts faithfully keeping a journal every night. She keeps it under her mattress, which she thinks nobody knows, but of course everyone does. [name_u]Remy[/name_u] gets in trouble at school for writing all over his desk in permanent marker - some unmentionable words.

Year Twenty: The Fawcett family home catches fire while the whole family are over at the Grandparents’ one night. Since they were out, nobody was hurt, but the house is damaged beyond repair. The good news is that insurance will give them the money to buy a new place, but they are all devastated about moving from their family home.

[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] becomes very passionate about animal rights and becomes vegan. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] starts working at Fawcett’s to help out her parents and also to save up some money for herself. [name_u]Roan[/name_u] is really struggling with math and keeps talking about how he is going to drop it as soon as he can. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] is having a hard time, and is diagnosed with depression. He is getting treatment, but continues to struggle. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] gets into a fight with a kid at school named [name_m]Fox[/name_m] who makes fun of her for being too “butch”. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] discovers geocaching with his friends and it becomes his new passion. [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] cuts all her hair off so that it’s a (poorly executed) pixie cut. [name_u]Josie[/name_u] takes her to the salon to get it cleaned up since it’s so poorly done. [name_u]Remy[/name_u] excels at gym class and takes up another sport by signing up for the volleyball team.
