It’s my first post here so I’m a little nervous lol
I’m expecting another son in February and need some opinions on names.
We have a two little girls name Seesea and [name_u]Navy[/name_u], and two other boys, Rudder and Deck. We’d like to keep in the theme, but so far dh and I can’t seem to agree.
Is Ship too obvious? I think it sounds like a variation on the name “[name_m]Chip[/name_m]” but dh doesn’t like it. He likes Bosun, as in the head office in charge of equipment and the men on the ship.
This is also my first post on here so hopefully I’m doing this right! . Here’s a few I can think of! Sorry for all the military references! ;p
[name_f]Marine[/name_f]
[name_u]Ocean[/name_u]
[name_m]Skipper[/name_m]
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] (already listed)
[name_u]Kai[/name_u] (already listed)
Osprey (a real stretch because it’s technically a helicopter! But its attached in my mind because of the Marines being amphibious assault!)
[name_m]Sergeant[/name_m] (again, a real military stretch!)
Stern
[name_u]Blue[/name_u]
Beacher
[name_m]Tide[/name_m]
Hull
Huller
[name_m]Breaker[/name_m]
Huet (another military reference referring to ocean training exercises!)
Littoral
Chevron (yet another military stretch…)
[name_u]Reed[/name_u]
[name_m]Port[/name_m]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u]
Sail
Mast
Wave
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
And if you don’t like how obvious Ship is you could try Shipley with the nickname Ship! [name_m]Just[/name_m] an idea! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps at least some! I don’t know if any of them are quite to your taste! Most of them aren’t to mine so I’m not sure if you’ll find any of them useful! All the same: Good luck!!
