I really like [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] runner up would be [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. I guess I’m a little odd because for a full name I like the [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] spelling but as a nickname I’d spell it [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]? I know that makes no sense xD But to sum up, [name_f]Tillie[/name_f].

I like both spellings but prefer [name_f]Tillie[/name_f]. I adore [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] are tied for my second choice.

I went for [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] because I think a short and nicknamey name like [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] needs a longer middle. Oh, [name_u]Haley[/name_u], you do love your nickname names, lol!

I do, aha, probably because for some, I prefer them to their longer form ([name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] over [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] & [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] over [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] over [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (slightly), [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] over [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], etc). :stuck_out_tongue:

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Tillie[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Tillie[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].

I know how you feel, I can’t choose which one I prefer, too! I like “ie” spellings in general and I like how [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] looks on screen, but I find [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] more appealing handwritten.

I think you should go with the spelling you prefer, because I suppose people are going to misspell it occasionally either way. [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] might be slightly more common, but it’s not like it’s the only established spelling and nobody uses [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] at all. She’ll probably have to spell it out anyway. (Unless you plan to raise her in [name_f]England[/name_f], where [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] is in the Top 100. In this case I’d probably go with [name_f]Tilly[/name_f].)

Weeeeeeeeeell, the [name_f]England[/name_f] thing might just have to happen  Kidding! (maybe  ) I do think I prefer [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] though, which isn’t that odd, I always seem to pick ‘ie’ spellings - [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Tillie[/name_f], [name_f]Posie[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Peonie[/name_f], the only real exception is [name_f]Betsy[/name_f].

Ok, so, here’s the final decision

[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] (I have both spellings on my list because, while I prefer [name_f]Tillie[/name_f], I don’t know which spelling’s going to be safer to use in the future ;)).

Thank you everyone for the help!
