i’m currently loving Ulysses as a first name, but i’m struggling to come up with any middles for him! i think he sounds much better as a middle name, and doesn’t flow very well as a first, which is why i’m struggling.
currently, i have:
Ulysses Fletcher
Ulysses Edwin
Ulysses Levi
Ulysses Lincoln
i don’t think the L middles sound great with Ulysses, but i do like the names (and Levi is a family name), so they’re on the list.
i’d ideally like a name with a more vintage feel, to match that of Ulysses, but i’m open to any suggestions! i imagine him as a brother to Winston Arthur, if that helps at all.
winston arthur and…

[name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is my favorite of your combos! [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] is very American Civil War to me, but that might just be that I’m a history nerd?
@tallemaja thank you, maya! i love Ulysses Florian (i was thinking about this combo earlier, and i love it but my only hesitancy is that i have Florian in another combo as a first - which probably doesn’t matter bahaha), Ulysses Edmund, Ulysses Henry, Ulysses Theodore, Ulysses Timothy, and basically all of your other suggestions! <3
@EagleEyes i made the civil war connection when i made the combo, too, and i wasn’t sure how much it bothered me it probably is too much, though! i really like Ulysses Vincent, Ulysses Walter (Walter is so lovely and underrated!), Ulysses Archie, and Ulysses Warren. thank you!!
@the_common_fool thank you, mr marshall (: these are all so lovely - my favorites are Ulysses Valentine, Ulysses Atticus, Ulysses Ambrose, Ulysses Peregrine, and Ulysses Irving
