Hello, berries! I hope you all are having a great day!
I’m looking for some help regarding a middle name for the lovely [name_m]Harry[/name_m]! Despite it being a relatively common name (which in theory should point towards it being easy to find a combo for), I am having a difficult time finding a middle for him!
I’ve adored its more formal form of [name_m]Henry[/name_m] for a long, long time, and I think it’s one of those names that fits in every combo. [name_m]Harry[/name_m] originally entered my list as a nickname for [name_m]Henry[/name_m] (so I’ve had a few combos using the name on my list), but has recently become a name I like in its own right, separate from my love for [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. Unfortunately, I feel like [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is the exact opposite of [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and it feels awkward and clunky in most of the combos I’ve tested out.
I really enjoy [name_m]Antony[/name_m] [name_m]Basil[/name_m] as a brother to [name_m]Harry[/name_m], and usually I’d go for a nature middle name to match with this (Moss is my immediate thought), but I feel like everything sounds like a description of something, well, hairy. [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Moss[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Valentine[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Clovis[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Clive[/name_m], and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]August[/name_m] all sound like descriptions of hairy objects, and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Milo[/name_m], and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m] all sound like hairy men.
[name_f]My[/name_f] style generally is Victorian names that are popular, easily recognizable, and British-sounding. Quintessential classics that have been used throughout history (a lot of the time in literature or royalty), with nature names sprinkled in randomly.
With this being said, do you have any suggestions for a middle name for [name_m]Harry[/name_m], as a brother to [name_m]Antony[/name_m] [name_m]Basil[/name_m]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] sounds too much like hairy in most combinations, and I should just forget about the name? And as bonus questions, what would you name a brother to [name_m]Antony[/name_m] [name_m]Basil[/name_m] and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] (your favorite middle name!)? How do you feel about this sibset? I look forward to reading all of your replies!
