I recently stumbled upon the name ‘[name]Muse[/name]’ used on a male. He is an older man, too, which I found particularly interesting.
I looked up the name & have only seen it for girls.

I think its rather odd on a man…and weren’t all the muses female? ?..
I think there are a lot of names which used to be appropriate for a boy’s name that are uncommon now or only used for girl’s names. One example I know of is [name]Iris[/name]. I know of several men named [name]Iris[/name], and I personally love this name for a boy. One man told me he grew up in Alaska and didn’t know it was the name of a flower until he was an adult.
I think it is cute on a girl, but a boy not so much. Reminds me of the Greek muses, who were all female.
