DH and I are TCC Lo#3 we have 2 DDs [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ann[/name] and [name]Laurelei[/name] [name]Alivia[/name]. We have a boys name picked [name]Henry[/name] [name]Adam[/name]. We are looking for a girls name that starts with “A” and has the same feel as [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Laurelei[/name]. We have friends with girls named:
I really don’t want to duplicate. The middle name with be [name]Faith[/name] or [name]Fayth[/name]. Some other names I like are
[name]Isla[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name],and [name]Caroline[/name]. I would prefer the name to start with A. I [name]DO[/name] like [name]Adelaide[/name] but it is a mouthful after [name]Laurelei[/name].
Oh! I thought you were looking for an A middle name in keeping with [name]Ann[/name], [name]Alivia[/name], and potentially [name]Adam[/name]. But, let’s see…
You can’t use [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Ava[/name], [name]Arden[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name], [name]Abbigail[/name], or [name]Allison[/name]. Okay! Maybe:
[name]Anneliese[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Adela[/name]
[name]Arabella[/name]
[name]Autumn[/name]
[name]Abilene[/name] - [name]Lena[/name] or [name]Billie[/name] instead of [name]Abby[/name]…
[name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Allegra[/name]
[name]Annora[/name]
[name]Aveline[/name]
I really like [name]Anneliese[/name] with [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Laurelei[/name], honestly. [name]Annora[/name], too, would be pretty and different from your friends’ kids’ names, and the idea of [name]Audrey[/name] above was pretty, too! I also think if you wanted to continue your A middle name “theme,” [name]Faith[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name] would be a stunner.
[name]Annora[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Afton[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Aspen[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Alexandra[/name] [name]Faith[/name] (maybe a little too popular for your taste)
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Andrea[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Amya[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head for now. Might reply back later.
But I will say that [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Laurelei[/name], and [name]Annora[/name] OR [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Laurelei[/name], and [name]Adeline[/name] sound SO cute together.
It is so awesome that you noticed this. It the swap in the initials is very deliberate. Our family’s initials are
FAH-DH LAH-ME CAH-DD#1 LAH-DD#2 with his middle name being [name]Adam[/name]. [name]Both[/name] of our girls have part of my name in their names. So when we started talking about baby #3 I told him the baby could have his name as part of it’s name. I wasn’t sold on [name]Faith[/name] as a first name (and it’s after [name]MIL[/name]'s name) so we figured if it was a girl named after him the initials could be inverted. FAH/AFH-if the baby is a girl
I really like [name]Adeline[/name] but what would be a nn other than [name]Addie[/name]? (waaaayy common in our area) I also like [name]Ada[/name] but I am not sure if it sounds too “old”.
Oh, cute! That’s great. Hm. What do you call [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Laurelei[/name]? [name]Ada[/name] works well but it is on the vintage side, so you could use [name]Del[/name] or Dela for something a little different.
Actually thinking about it our girls’ nn are nothing to do with their names I just really don’t want another [name]Addie[/name] running around. I think it’s cute but there are so many around here. When we chose [name]Charlotte[/name] nobody was using it and [name]Laurelei[/name] isn’t common at all.
I liked [name]Alice[/name] but a friend MAJORLY vetoed it. [name]Ada[/name] keeps growing on me. It’s so similar to [name]Adam[/name] and that makes me happy.
[name]Ada[/name] is cute. And what is so horrible about [name]Alice[/name]?! That’s a pretty straightforward, classic name. Anyway, [name]Ada[/name] could be a nn for [name]Adalaide[/name] if you decided to go that route. As for [name]Adeline[/name], yeah… [name]Addie[/name] is the natural nn. Or [name]Della[/name]?
You could use nn [name]Lina[/name] for [name]Adeline[/name]. I know a woman with that name and that is what we call her. I also like the suggestion of nn [name]Della[/name].
Other A names: Andine, [name]Anya[/name], [name]Alana[/name], or Anelle. Good luck! =]
[name]Addison[/name] (you can get [name]Ada[/name] out of that)
[name]Adrianna[/name] (my favorite)
[name]Adrienne[/name]
[name]Adria[/name]
[name]Alexandra[/name] or [name]Alexa[/name]
