idk if Addox is a real name or not but if you’re interested i know [name_u]Addax[/name_u] is a real name, is a nature name, it means saharan antelope

I like Addox! As far as A names I’ve always liked Averitt and [name_m]Avett[/name_m]. Not sure if they’re “real” names either though!

Maybe I’m alone, but I’m not really a fan of Addox. Partially because it feels incomplete without the M (for Maddox), but mostly because I would pronounce Addox exactly the same as the word “attics” and that feels weird for a name. I’m sure there’s some regional variation to the pronunciation, - I’m from the upper Midwest USA.

I had the same exact thought about “attics” - I actually asked a couple friends if they thought that was weird but they said it wasn’t their first thought so that made me feel a little better. Honestly I don’t even know if my husband will agree to it, I wanted to get some outside opinions before I ask him for his haha. But thank you for your input!! It really does help!
