A New Love.

This story about a Michigan State basketball player is huge where I live and it’s making me love the name [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]! WDYT of the name [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]?

Here’s the stor, hopefully it inspires you like it inspires me

It’s a very touching story. However, [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] is still not my style. It just sounds too childish, cutesy and sugar-y sweet for my comfort level. I like girls names to have a bit of strength to them.

I love the name [name_f]Lacey[/name_f], it has such a feminine sound.

The story is lovely but I think the name lacks some substance and sounds a bit dated.

I have always liked [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]! I have an adult friend named [name_f]Lacey[/name_f], and it really doesn’t seem too girly or childish on her. She gets lots of compliments on her sweet, girly, vintage-y name.

I quite like it, but it’s ‘‘chavy’’ back in [name_f]England[/name_f].

I really love [name_u]Laney[/name_u]/[name_f]Lainey[/name_f]/[name_u]Lanie[/name_u] too, even [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] is appealing to me.

One of my least favorite names… Sorry I think if cheap lace at the end of spandex in the 90’s. Something that one of the tanner girls from Full House would wear. The name seems white trashy to me.

I’ve met a few babies recently named [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]. It seems to be one of the in vogue names where I work currently. I have no qualms with it, it seems like a perfectly lovely name. However, for me it lacks a certain sparkle.

I know of a few [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]'s, however one bullied me a lot growing up, and the other one is incredibly terrifying, so I don’t think of the nicest things when I hear it. I suppose it’s ok, and the story is lovely, but I think there are nicer names out there.

[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] was the name of my grandma’s dog’s name (she looked just like a little red fox) so I have a hard time picturing it on a human. It’s not a common dog’s name though so I don’t think that should factor in.

It’s a sweet name and girly but not frilly name. I think I would prefer it as a nickname, but again that’s personal preference and I do think it’d work as a full name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my style.

[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] is my best friends name and it never seemed to childish on her. I’m from the UK and my friend is the only [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] I have ever met, growing up in what was considered the ‘chavvy’ area of the city I have to disagree that the name is chavvy, I think it is sweet, a little cute but that’s never a bad thing

When I was a kid we had a dog named [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]. Loved her…but wouldn’t saddle a human being with that name!
