I like [name]January[/name], but not with [name]Clementine[/name]. I think that both names are long in terms of syllables and letters, and since the normal clementine growing season is [name]November[/name] - [name]January[/name] (my high school used to sell oranges and clementines in winter to pay for prom), I think of a clementine grown in [name]January[/name]. Since [name]January[/name] is a word name, I would personally avoid the use of a word name or a long name in the middle. I don’t know if you’ll like these, but I think these sound nice with [name]January[/name]:
[name]January[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Willa[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Cosette[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Monroe[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Luna[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Nina[/name] or [name]January[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Rue[/name] (still a bit double word-namey, but maybe less noticeable?)
[name]January[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] makes me think of a [name]Clementine[/name] was was ripened in [name]January[/name]. Honestly I would try to stay away from Noun/Adjective names together.
I think [name]January[/name] is great! While I do like the combo [name]January[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] I will agree that it is a mouthful, I’d suggest a non-word name for the middle spot.
[name]January[/name] [name]Lilith[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Amaia[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Matilda[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Diana[/name]
[name]January[/name] [name]Tess[/name]
just to name a few!
I was thisclose to using [name]January[/name] for my baby last year! I read the book Once is not Enough while I wad pregnant with a [name]January[/name] baby…but the lack of nn that I really loved kind of ruined it for me. Personally I would’ve picked a plainer, less ott mn, but that’s just me! [name]January[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] was at the top of our list.
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]January[/name] I love [name]Clementine[/name] too but I’m not convinced they work together purely because they are both long names.
I’d maybe keep [name]Clementine[/name] for a future sibling, and come up with another middle name for [name]January[/name] But if you love it, go with it!
