So recently I’ve been thinking about the name [name]Regina[/name]. It was number one on my list for a while, some years ago, even before beginning TTC but then it sort of fell off but it has come back onto my radar and I’m remembering how much I love that name. It has such a lovely, rich, regal quality. [name]One[/name] of the reasons it fell off my list before though was my inability to find a middle name that I liked to go with it. I like really feminine, romantic names and sweet, vintage classics but nothing seems to work with [name]Regina[/name]. [name]Rose[/name] was my number one name for longer than any other but when I realized my chosen middle name ([name]Anne[/name]) didn’t work well with it because when said together it sounded like [name]Roseanne[/name] which I hated, it fell into mn potential instead and while I suaully really like the sound and flow of names with alliteration I don’t really like [name]Regina[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and I have absolutely no other ideas!
[name]How[/name] about [name]Regina[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name]? Still has [name]Rose[/name] in there and I love that [name]Ambrose[/name] means “Immortal”.
I like the way [name]Regina[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] sounds but since [name]Maeve[/name] is my other top of the list choice I don’t want to smush it into the middle spot since if I used [name]Regina[/name] first then a subsequent daughter would almost certainly be [name]Maeve[/name].
emmabobemma I really am kind of liking the suggestion of [name]Regina[/name] [name]Feliz[/name]. The more I say it the more it grows on me. I’ll have to keep trying that one out and see if I grow bored of it or not (often that is the problem) but I do like the flow and feel of it together.
[name]Regina[/name] [name]Delphine[/name] is also really beautiful and the suggestion of [name]Heloise[/name] made me think of [name]Eloise[/name] which I was actually discussing with a friend the other day as a possible feminine way to honor a [name]Louis[/name] (for my late grandpa who I was always very close to)
Well my favorites were [name]Regina[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Regina[/name] [name]Delphine[/name] but I’m not really taken with either of their meanings. [name]Eloise[/name] was probably a little ahead until I saw it meant healthy or wide. I don’t know if I could get past that. Any other suggestions? Please?
I’ve really gotten so much great feedback on [name]Regina[/name] from friends and family but a middle name is just seeming impossible.
Thanks for the suggestions Berries I’m trying out each one to see how I like the sound and look and feel. Meaning is also important to me. I really liked [name]Tabitha[/name] as a mn a lot but they both end in a so it sounds weird. Ack!
