A nickname for Jasmine

Hey Berries,

My thread got trashed by a troll yesterday, so I closed it. I’m posting it again

Well, I’m kinda looking for a new nickname. I have always been a [name_u]Jazz[/name_u]/[name_u]Jaz[/name_u], Jassy/[name_m]Jazzy[/name_m] or Jazzymin. I don’t really like those nicknames at all. I quite like my full first name, but I have never liked my middle name ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]) and I wouldn’t go by that.

I’m rather tall, clumsy and quiet. I like being alone, but not lonely. I love music, [name_m]Ben[/name_m] [name_u]Howard[/name_u], Mumford & Sons, [name_f]Laura[/name_f] Marling, Of Monsters & Men, [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] & The [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. I love reading, especially the classics. I love taking photos. I love old movies, classic or not. I am a huge Downton [name_u]Abbey[/name_u], [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood (BBC), [name_u]North[/name_u] & South fan. My favourite movies are Breakfast at [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f]'s & Last of the Mohicans. My style (interior, fashion etc) is classic, vintage, and little bit preppy. The name doesn’t have to have any relation to my actual name, just something you think would suit me.

[name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is the first thing that comes to mind. It was a really popular name for girls many (MANY) years ago, so it has that vintage flair you seem to like.

[name_f]Minnie[/name_f] was my first thought and I think it suits you perfectly. Maybe [name_f]Petal[/name_f] for the flower [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]?

[name_f]Mina[/name_f]! [name_f]Love[/name_f] it! [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is cute, and I’m not that cute, unfortunately. I also love [name_f]Milla[/name_f]/[name_f]Mila[/name_f] (Mee-lah), but [name_f]Mina[/name_f] suits me more. Thank you!

[name_f]Mina[/name_f]! You totally look like a [name_f]Mina[/name_f] and it makes sense with [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]. Plus, it seems like it would suit your personality/style, too. Or [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]? But [name_f]Mina[/name_f] seems much better to me… Of course, you know what would suit you much better than I would. :slight_smile:

[name_f]Mina[/name_f] is a great idea. If you don’t mind a more masculine-sounding nickname, maybe [name_m]Jase[/name_m] would be nice. I met a girl online once who went by that and it sounded really cool.

[name_f]My[/name_f] young neighbour (10) is named [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] and we have tons of nicknames for her.
