A Note from Linda and Pam

We really love how this game section has taken off and how creative you all are, but there are a couple of things we aren’t too happy about. Although we don’t have any strict rules, we’d appreciate subjects being kept appropriate to a baby name site and in the nameberry spirit, so no more stripper lists please, or references to drugs etc. We’re not going to be allowing links to other sites or photos either.
[name]Hope[/name] you continue to be inventive and continue to have fun!

Thanks, [name]Linda[/name]! I’m so glad you won’t be allowing links or photos!

Thank you, [name]Linda[/name]!

Does [name]Miracle[/name] Whip count as a drug?

bwahaha!

My apologies, ladies. My post was a sarcastic response to what was going on at the boards, but obviously not taken in that spirit. I shall delete it posthaste.

[name]Melissa[/name], I know I thought it was sarcastic, and hilarious. My bwahaha was meant as a big laugh, not an evil one.

Thanks so much! I hate those picture/link things. Take all the fun out of the name game for me!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

[name]Melissa[/name], I loved what you wrote about the censored stuff. At the time it made me laugh so hard. I knew you were being ironic, and I know that you do not endorse very bad behavior like that. As for the other poster who was truly being thoughtless, they annoyed me. But I forgive that person and you are still welcome at Nameberry as far as I’m concerned. [name]Just[/name] please don’t put any of those forums back because they set my teeth on edge and cause me to write a strange Name Game scenario that inspired [name]Melissa[/name] to be naughty in a very hysterically funny way. Guess we’ll have to stick to only ever so slightly naughty topics such as Doritos and [name]Miracle[/name] Whip.

One question about posting links: Can I post a link if it’s the purpose of mentioning/clarifying information on a name or its usage? I’ve done that before (I don’t know if it was on the forums or on the blog) when there was a discussion about unisex names and there was a debate on whether [name]Rowan[/name] is “traditionally” unisex or not, and I posted a link that mentioned the etymology of that name.

Awesome.
