And I like [name]Liam[/name] as a nn for [name]William[/name], but not so much on its own. [name]William[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] is a nice handsome classic name. Can’t go wrong with it, but it’s nothing exciting, and from your other choices, I sense you don’t want something quite that safe.
[name]Mercer[/name] sounds feminine to me, somehow (not that I would like it on a girl).
I can see the appeal of [name]Marcheline[/name], but I think it’s a little too much.
Lots of people love [name]Georgia[/name], and this is probably the one you should go with (I like the style but I dislike this name because I hear [name]George[/name] too strongly, with the a on the end like an afterthough, but that’s probably just me).
[name]Kimora[/name] has a very pretty sound, but I can’t get past the association with [name]Kimora[/name] [name]Lee[/name] Simmons, which just makes it sound trendy to me.
Not really sure what your style is (your names have quite a range) to suggest others . . .
[name]Male[/name]:
[name]Mercer[/name] - I immediatley thought of MRSA which sounds like “mersa”. It is a really awful type of infection. I was steer clear of this name. You can look up MRSA to see what I mean.
[name]Ezra[/name] - makes me think of the band “Better than [name]Ezra[/name]”…not a bad connect, but it’s what I think of
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] - I really like [name]Liam[/name], unfortunatley a lot of people now do so the name is getting popular. [name]Even[/name] still, it’s my favorite of your choices.
Female:
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rain[/name] - I only think of the song by [name]Trisha[/name] Yearwood…can’t get past that, even though the name is pretty.
“The [name]Georgia[/name] rain on the [name]Jasper[/name] county clay,
Couldn’t wash away what I felt for you that day.
[name]Just[/name] you an’ me down an ol’ dirt road…
Nothin’ in our way except for the [name]Georgia[/name] rain.”
[name]Marcheline[/name] - Quite gorgeous, and I see the appeal but be prepared to hear “Oh, like Brangelina?”
[name]Kimora[/name] - All [name]Kimora[/name] [name]Lee[/name] Simmons to me…
Here are a few ideas for you:
Boys:
[name]Asher[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Atticus[/name]
[name]Adrian[/name]
[name]August[/name]
[name]Judah[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Brody[/name]
[name]Clark[/name]
[name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Jamieson[/name]
[name]Eli[/name]
[name]Declan[/name]
[name]MERCER[/name] seems a bit feminine to me, and the MRSA connection isn’t good. You may like [name]Marley[/name], [name]Mason[/name], [name]Merrill[/name], [name]Miller[/name], or Morrow. Perhaps even [name]Mercy[/name] for a girl?
[name]EZRA[/name] is a fun Biblical name, and I really like it! You may also like [name]Isaiah[/name], [name]Asher[/name], [name]Herschel[/name], or [name]Zaccheus[/name].
[name]LIAM[/name] [name]THOMAS[/name] is cute, but [name]Liam[/name] seems a but cutesy to me, and very popular. [name]William[/name] [name]Thomas[/name], with [name]Liam[/name] as a nickname, is more of a “finished” name in my opinion. You may also like [name]Aidan[/name], Cargan, [name]Patrick[/name], or [name]Dempsey[/name].
[name]GEORGIA[/name] [name]RAIN[/name] is pretty and unique, but I don’t much like [name]Rain[/name]. [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Bay[/name], [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Skye[/name], or [name]Georgia[/name] [name]May[/name] are more attractive and soft, yet still natural, names that you may consider. You may also like [name]Savannah[/name], [name]Martha[/name], [name]Maisie[/name] ([name]Margaret[/name]), [name]Sadie[/name] ([name]Sarah[/name]), [name]Matilda[/name], or [name]Dorothy[/name].
[name]MARCHELINE[/name] reminds me only of [name]Angelina[/name] [name]Jolie[/name]'s late mother, and thus her daughter, [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Marcheline[/name]. You may also like [name]Marguerite[/name], [name]Marisol[/name], or [name]Margaret[/name].
[name]KIMORA[/name] seems off-kilter with your more traditional style, and it is all [name]Kimora[/name] [name]Lee[/name] Simmons to me. I’m not sure another human could pull it off at this rate, it is so identified with Ms. Simmons and underused elsewhere.
[name]Mercer[/name]: I first thought of [name]Mercer[/name] [name]Street[/name] in NYC (I love that area), but my next thought was of the MRSA virus, which isn’t a good thing.
Female:
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rain[/name]: I love [name]Georgia[/name] so much, but not with [name]Rain[/name]. I think of the rainfall in [name]Georgia[/name].
I’m over in [name]Washington[/name] State and we have a [name]Mercer[/name] Island where all the really wealthy people live, so that’s what I thought of with [name]Mercer[/name]. We also have a [name]Vashon[/name] Island and I’ve met a 20 something who rocked the name [name]Vashon[/name].
[name]Male[/name]:
[name]Mercer[/name]- I see it more as a girls name w nn mercy
[name]Ezra[/name]- love
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]- very nice. woud [name]Thomas[/name] be the mn?
Female:
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rain[/name]: [name]Love[/name] as long as its not a double first name and rain in mn
[name]Marcheline[/name]: cute but a mouth full
[name]Kimora[/name]: NO! its all [name]Kimora[/name] lee simmons to me
I really like [name]Liam[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]. For girls, what about just ‘[name]March[/name]’? I know a woman named [name]March[/name] and think it is a surprisingly pretty, yet distinctive name on her. (but it could be weird on a girl that’s not born in [name]March[/name])
[name]Male[/name]:
[name]Mercer[/name]- eh. I don’t really like this name. It sounds like mercenary, or a mispronunciation of mercy.
[name]Ezra[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] it! Def. my favorite of your boy names.
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]- I like [name]Liam[/name], but I prefer it as a nn for [name]William[/name].
Female:
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rain[/name]- I like this, but it’s my second choice to [name]Marcheline[/name]
[name]Marcheline[/name]- I really like this. It’s my favorite of your girl names.
[name]Kimora[/name]- not so much a fan. maybe because I always see [name]Kimora[/name] [name]Lee[/name] [name]Simon[/name]'s neck wrinkles when I hear it.
I like [name]Ezra[/name], and I like [name]Georgia[/name], and I like [name]Rain[/name] and [name]Raine[/name], but I don’t think [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rain[/name] is quite right.
[name]Mercer[/name]- I’m in the minority, but I like [name]Mercer[/name]. I think it’s unique and handsome. It does not sound feminine to me. It reminds me of [name]Mercer[/name] [name]Mayer[/name] a children’s book author and illustrator.
[name]Ezra[/name]- I can see the appeal.
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]- very nice
[name]Marcheline[/name]- It’s pretty, but too frilly for me.
[name]Kimora[/name]- I can only think of [name]Kimora[/name] [name]Lee[/name] Simmons. I think it would be very difficult to pull off this name.
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rain[/name]- I really like [name]Georgia[/name], but I’m not crazy about [name]Rain[/name].
As a Mother of a “[name]Georgia[/name]” I vote for that, but we and everyone else alwasy cal lher “[name]George[/name]” when in a hurry. I love it because I think boy NN for girls are cute, [name]Just[/name] be prepared if you choose it accept that. I chose a 2 syllable middle name but that is probably because our last name is only 1 syllable, If your last name is longer I think “[name]Rain[/name]” is a good choice for a MN
