I love [name]Seth[/name]! Everybody thinks it is this nice little bible name, but it actually has a link with the Egyptian God [name]Set[/name], which is so much more interesting! [name]Caleb[/name] is super trendy where I live and seems overused. [name]Nathaniel[/name] I can’t stand. Sorry.
LOL, actually I love to hear brutally honest opinions about names. thank you!
(plus my fave is [name]Seth[/name], hehe)
I like [name]Nathaniel[/name] the best but since [name]Joel[/name] ends the same way, it’s not ideal. Trendy [name]Caleb[/name] is ok but I think [name]Seth[/name] would be the more interesting choice.
[name]Seth[/name] is my favorite of the group, but any of them would work beautifully. I also like [name]Nathaniel[/name] a lot, since you only have one other long name in your set–not that it’s a big deal.
I think a short name like [name]Seth[/name] fits best with a long middle.
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Christopher[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Montgomery[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Simeon[/name]
I think [name]Nathaniel[/name] flows with the names of your other boys best. [name]Caleb[/name] would be my second choice. Not a fan of [name]Seth[/name].
I like [name]Seth[/name], but as your other sons’ names have at least 2 syllables ([name]Joel[/name] being borderline), I voted for [name]Caleb[/name]. It’s sweet, sends an obvious biblical signal like your other boys, and fairly uncommon while still being recognizable. [name]Nathaniel[/name] seemed a bit ornate next to [name]Joel[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Josh[/name] & [name]Ben[/name].
I know this isn’t particularly helpful, but I like them all, and I think they go well with your other boys’ names. You can’t go wrong!
I voted [name]Caleb[/name] because it’s my personal favorite, but I think [name]Seth[/name] would work well too! I don’t care for [name]Nathaniel[/name], but I would like [name]Nathan[/name] more with your other sons names.
I voted for [name]Caleb[/name] because it’s my top choice for a boy. But I love [name]Seth[/name], too, and I actually think it probably goes better than [name]Caleb[/name] does. But I’m really rooting for [name]Caleb[/name] here, so that still gets my vote. I think both [name]Seth[/name] and [name]Caleb[/name] are great with [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Joshua[/name], and [name]Joel[/name].
Good luck!
I voted for [name]Nathaniel[/name] although [name]Seth[/name] is also nice. I really dislike [name]Caleb[/name], sorry! I love [name]Nat[/name] and [name]Natty[/name] as nn for [name]Nathaniel[/name] and think the full name has a beautiful flow, especially with your other boys’ names.
thank you for all the input!
They would all work, but I voted for [name]Seth[/name]. [name]Nathaniel[/name] seems a little less flowy with this sibset to my ear for some reason. And I just think of [name]Joshua[/name] and [name]Caleb[/name] obviously going together because of the Bible, so I thought that [name]Seth[/name] would be a more “neutral” name that doesn’t set him up to be a pair with just one brother, if that makes sense? Doesn’t really matter, I am just crazy and think about things like that…
thanks for all the votes and input.
shameless bump for a few more votes. I am personally leaning towards [name]Seth[/name] right now, with the possible mn of [name]Gabriel[/name].
…plus, my name starts with an S, as did my grandfather’s (who I adored), so I like the idea of using an S name too.
[name]Caleb[/name]… sigh I’ve known so many, for me it’s dry as sawdust.
[name]Nathaniel[/name]… I cannot bring myself to like this name because it has such a nasally sound to me. Also when I was little there was a Bible story tape they played over and over called [name]Nathaniel[/name] the Grublet. LOL
But, [name]Seth[/name]! I’ve always liked the name. It’s strong but gentle. With the brothers’ names, it fits smoothly, yet does not blur/disappear, which I would find important with a fifth little boy. Speaking of fifth…
[name]How[/name] about [name]Seth[/name] [name]Quinton[/name]?
Or…
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Barnaby[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Emanuel[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Canaan[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Cornelius[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Raphael[/name]
Voted for [name]Nathaniel[/name] but now I’ve seen the combo [name]Seth[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] I want to change my vote to [name]Seth[/name]. [name]Love[/name] thename [name]Seth[/name] but I’ve always had a hard time finding a middle that works but [name]Seth[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] is perfect, imo.
Wow, look how close that poll is?!
I voted for [name]Nathaniel[/name] because I do love the name, and it matches up with the length of [name]Benjamin[/name] too.
I adore [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Seth[/name] too, so you really can’t go wrong with any of these names. [name]Caleb[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] would be gorgeous too.
I like them all but I voted for [name]Nathaniel[/name]
I’m still very torn.
thanks again for all the ideas, it is so helpful.
I like [name]Caleb[/name]. Usually I wouldn’t suggest that name but I think it sounds great with the other siblings and it also has the same Biblical feel.
