I’m on the hunt for names with repetitive letters that aren’t consecutively in order for an upcoming post on my Instagram page and it’s becoming quite a challenge.
Example : [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] has “la” twice but not together as [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] does. There is a separation. So far I have
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] - La
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] - ar
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - pe
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] - he
[name_m]Can[/name_m] anyone think of any others?
The only ones I’ve come up with so far are:
Aeaea (not in the database, but the name of an island in Greek mythology)
Barbara
Cecelia
Which I know aren’t exactly what you were looking for, but I’ll come back if I think of any more. I know this is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day!

I found most of these by using NB’s advanced search by looking for names starting and ending with the same two letters.
