i’ve found myself really liking [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Roz[/name_f] names recently and I was wondering ehich of them would be the most popular on here. Here are some that I have found, please say which you prefer and feel free to add other examples if you know them:
I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. Hands down my absolute favourite ‘[name_f]Rose[/name_f]’ name. I love that it is a herb (one of my favourites), and the name ‘rosemary’ derives from the Latin for ‘dew’ (ros) and “sea” (marinus), or ‘dew of the sea’- in Greek myth it was draped around [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] when she was born out of the sea foam, so that it a pretty nice tidbit. That association was continued into the middle ages, when at weddings, the bride would wear a rosemary headpiece and the groom a sprig of rosemary, symbolic of love. It is also a symbol of remembrance, à la [name_m]Hamlet[/name_m].
I also like [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] from your list.
Other ones I like:
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosette[/name_f], Rosabel, Rosabet, [name_f]Bellerose[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] names are my favorite names.
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f], [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalina[/name_f] (my great-grandmother’s name), [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my favorite, but I’ve been really into [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and now [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] lately. I tend to not like frilly names as much. I’ve liked [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] a lot in the past but it’s in a down phase for me right now.
Maybe it’s just because I’m very young and grew up with Super [name_m]Mario[/name_m] [name_f]Galaxy[/name_f], but that is the only thing that comes to mind when I hear [name_f]Rosalina[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
I pronounce [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f] - [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-ah-lind and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-ah-mond
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], and [name_f]Roslyn[/name_f] which you haven’t included. I love the nickname roz but wish there were more names for it to come from for a short form.
