I am considering the name [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], which I love because it is simple, classic, feminine, and includes [name_f]Mary[/name_f] which was my grandmother’s name.
BUT I would love to find a middle name that is basically the opposite! I think I want something rather short, something that doesn’t end in Y or A, something a little modern and trendy so that it places the name in 2017. However, names like that are not my usual style so it is really hard coming up with some!
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] comes to mind, but it’s a little too many word names and R sounds in a row for me! I just thought it would be a good example of a short & trendy middle that could appeal to someone with more old fashioned taste.
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] if you like the idea of something poetic
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] if you want something still timeless, but not too popular.
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Vita[/name_f] (short, sweet, not common, means “life”)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Shae[/name_u]/[name_u]Shay[/name_u] (nicknames as given/middle names is very modern)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (I think this sounds lovely yet striking! Probably my fav of my suggestions)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Nerys[/name_f] (means “lady” in welsh)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Tanis[/name_f] (no fun meaning but a fun name I think)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Felis[/name_f] (means “happy”, like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f])
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Pallas[/name_f] (one of the names of goddess [name_f]Athena[/name_f])
Other names I think just sound cool with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]True[/name_u] would be my top choice. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is also a great suggestion. Here’s some others:
Thank you for all of the responses! I really like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Arden[/name_u] & [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I never imagined using a name like one of those, but I feel like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is really elevated by a super modern, somewhat trendy middle
