Would love help coming up with sibling name options! My daughter’s name is [name]Ella[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (both are family names). We live in the South and use the double name most of the time. Our last name is [name]Parker[/name].
We tend to like names that are both classic and also jaunty - or else with a fun nickname. We enjoy names that can sound playful on children, but also grow up well (for example, our daughter can drop the double form and go by either “[name]Ella[/name]” or the more serious “[name]Jane[/name]” when she is an adult.)
For a girl, we like [name]Margaret[/name] ([name]Maggie[/name]) but would love more options. Also worried [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Parker[/name] has too many R’s. For a boy, my husband likes [name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charlie[/name]) - but given jazz great [name]Charlie[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - I wonder if that’s a bad idea? Again, would love more options!
Here are some sister combos for Ella Jane’s sibling.

The first name that came to mind was [name]Olivia[/name]. [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name]? or [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Laurel[/name]? [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name]? As for a boy, I agree with the posts above, especially [name]Henry[/name]!
I don’t think there are too many Rs in [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Parker[/name]. If you count, 4 seems like a lot…but I really think it rolls off the tongue well, and I probably wouldn’t have noticed an excess of Rs if you didn’t point it out.
Thank you all! We just found out the baby will be a boy!
So I’ll be adding [name]Jack[/name], [name]Henry[/name], and [name]Thomas[/name]/[name]Tom[/name] to our short list, along with the original [name]Charles[/name]/[name]Charlie[/name]!
[name]Happy[/name] to hear more suggestions if you have them! Thanks again!
