[name]Baby[/name] 2 (gender unknown) is due in 3 months and i’m allll over the place.
Big sister is ‘[name]Charlie[/name] [name]Emma[/name] [name]Midnight[/name]’.
DH is mostly concerned that the child have a cool 2nd or 3rd name like DD does whereas i’m concerned that we don’t yet have a top contender for first yet for either gender. We do have more choices that I like and am open to for a boy but another girl name has me baffled.
I love the androgynous names for girls and would love [name]Ryan[/name] for a little girl but I know that having 2 girls, [name]Charlie[/name] and [name]Ryan[/name] would just be ‘trying too hard’ but I also don’t really care for very feminine names.
Lists for girls First Names look something like this: These were our top 2 other girl names when we named [name]Charlie[/name] and while I like them, and I think they go with ‘[name]Charlie[/name]’ I don’t know I love them:
[name]Lauryn[/name]
[name]Callie[/name]
Other that are on my list but may not match ‘[name]Charlie[/name]’ too well:
[name]Waverly[/name]
[name]Naya[/name]
[name]Halston[/name]
[name]Sloane[/name]
[name]Autumn[/name] (though DH is pretty dead set against this)
So, if this babe does happen to be a girl, what do you folks think of the names above or PLEASE feel free to throw out other good suggestions to go with little girl [name]Charlie[/name].
From your list, I guess [name]Lauryn[/name] would be my top pick to go with sister [name]Charlie[/name]. Here are some other suggestions (both unisex and no-frills female names).
I think [name]Callie[/name] & [name]Charlie[/name] are too similar. I love [name]Charlie[/name] by the way. I like [name]Ryan[/name] for a girl but may I suggst [name]Dylan[/name]? I think they go great together!
I also love [name]Waverly[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Hadley[/name] or [name]Delaney[/name]?
I agree that [name]Charlie[/name] and [name]Callie[/name] are too similar. I’m hesitant to do any androgynous names for another girl just because I think people will find it weird.
Not a big fan of [name]Hadley[/name] or [name]Delaney[/name].
Thought yesterday about [name]Piper[/name] but DH nixed it because last name starts with a P and he doesn’t like PP initials.
I like the suggestions above of [name]Blair[/name], [name]Paige[/name], [name]Wren[/name], [name]Rory[/name] & [name]Reese[/name]. They seem not too feminine yet distinct.
