Hello! I’m new to these forums, but hopefully someone can help me out.
I have a 6-month-old little boy named [name_u]Cal[/name_u] (short for [name_m]Callahan[/name_m]). His full name is [name_m]Callahan[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], but we rarely, if ever, use his full name. It’s almost always [name_u]Cal[/name_u].
An unexpected pregnancy means [name_u]Cal[/name_u] is going to be an older brother in the spring. No idea yet what sex the new baby is, but should find out soon.
Background:
- Husband and I had an exceptionally difficult time agreeing on names we both liked for baby #1. [name_u]Cal[/name_u] ended up coming 6 weeks early, which basically forced our hand.
- We like Irish names.
- We like 3-syllable names (goes nicely with the last name)
- We like names that sound nice together and match each other in trendiness and uniqueness (e.g., no siblings named [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f])
Any ideas? ![]()
