Hey. DH and I already have two children, [name]Rory[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] and [name]Kerry[/name] [name]Jess[/name]. Update It’s twins. That I wasn’t expecting! Keeping sexes a surprise though so now we need two names. for girls we like: [name]Eilidh[/name] and [name]Teagan[/name] or
[name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Morgan[/name]
unsure about boys though. Any suggestions fopr combinations?
At the moment we like:
Girls:
[name]Teagan[/name]
[name]Eilidh[/name]
Boys:
[name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Jack[/name] (although poularity is a little offputting)
we also love the name [name]Lou[/name] but don’t like [name]Louise[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name] any ideas for other names?
I know that all our ideas are relatively safe and boring so any more daring/interesting suggestions would be helpful
any thoughts/suggestions/criticism welcome.
I hate asking questions like this, but you leave me no choice. Is [name]Kerry[/name] [name]Jess[/name] a boy or a girl? Okay, so, with [name]Rory[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] and [name]Kerry[/name] [name]Jess[/name], I might suggest these…
I was also wondering if [name]Kerry[/name] [name]Jess[/name] is a boy or girl. It sounds more masculine to me with the mn [name]Jess[/name], so if it is I would pick a girls name that is clearly feminine since [name]Kerry[/name] can go either way. I love Irish names and think they compliment [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Kerry[/name] nicely, some others you might consider:
Some of those are kind of daring because of spelling/pronunciation but that doesn’t seem to be an issue looking at your girls list. I love the nickname [name]Lou[/name], though as mentioned above it might be confusing having a female [name]Lou[/name] and a male [name]Kerry[/name] (if that is the case). However, it is very cute, so some other names that it can be a nickname of are [name]Luanne[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Lucille[/name], [name]Lucinda[/name], [name]Luciana[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Luella[/name], [name]Lourdes[/name] and [name]Tallulah[/name]. [name]Hope[/name] that helps!
Hey, thanks for the replies
No, I don’t mind you asking, [name]Kerry[/name] [name]Jess[/name] is a girl (her middle name is for a friend who only ever goes by [name]Jess[/name] so we didn’t think [name]Jessica[/name] would feel right)
I love [name]Cian[/name] for a boy and [name]Darcy[/name] for a girl. [name]Niamh[/name] I also love but know quite a few wee Niamhs so that’s probably out
If we were using Eiley we would spell it [name]Eilidh[/name] but we also love that.
Hey! First off, congrats And I love your kids’ names, by the way, especially your son’s.
For girls, some suggestions –
[name]Delia[/name].
[name]Eliza[/name].
[name]Lorelei[/name].
[name]Vivienne[/name].
[name]Lola[/name].
[name]Veda[/name].
[name]Amity[/name].
[name]Willow[/name].
[name]Camilla[/name].
[name]Sloane[/name].
[name]Phoebe[/name].
[name]Nala[/name].
[name]Luna[/name].
For boys, some suggestions –
[name]Beckett[/name].
[name]Jude[/name].
[name]Easton[/name].
[name]Luke[/name].
[name]Harrison[/name].
[name]Fletcher[/name].
[name]Graham[/name].
[name]Holden[/name].
[name]Owen[/name].
[name]Garrett[/name].
[name]Collin[/name].
[name]Heath[/name].
[name]Isaac[/name].
[name]Thatcher[/name].
[name]Morgan[/name].
[name]Parker[/name].
[[name]Love[/name] [name]Jack[/name], by the way, even with the popularity.]
For [name]Lou[/name], it could be short for [name]Lucille[/name] or [name]Lucy[/name].
I think [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Morgan[/name] would be nice for boy twins as well! (I would be less likely to recommend them for boy/girl twins as it can cause confusion as to which one is the boy and which is the girl; in that case if you use a unisex name for one than use a more masculine/feminine name for the one of the opposite gender).
Personally, I think [name]Eilidh[/name] & [name]Morgan[/name] are great names for twin girls. [name]Rory[/name], [name]Kerry[/name], [name]Eilidh[/name] & [name]Morgan[/name] make a very nice sibset. I like [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Teagan[/name], too.
I don’t know about boys for you… do you like [name]Michael[/name]?
Okay, thanks for all your suggestions We are pretty much settled on
Boys:
[name]Cameron[/name] [name]Michael[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] Deans (Deans is a family name)
I know they are pretty normal names but I lkie strong and steady names for boys.
Girls:
[name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Mary[/name].
We are keeping the sexes a surprise though. If we have G/B twins we’ll mix and match but I have no idea which ones we’d use I love them all!
