I’m looking for a name that pairs well with my son, [name]Soren[/name]. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Freya[/name] for a girl, and I really like the way that it sounds with [name]Soren[/name]! I prefer names that are not very common yet not too unusual. I’m very stuck for boy names. I like Dahsiell, but I’m not really in love with it or anything else. I’m really very open to suggestions for both boy and girl names. I would love to find something that I haven’t really considered. The middle will likely be something kind of hippy/nature inspired.
For example:
[name]Freya[/name] [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Freya[/name] Bluebird
I love [name]Freya[/name] paired with [name]Soren[/name]!
Here are some other ideas for you:
[name]Calla[/name]
[name]Veda[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name]
[name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Phaedra[/name]
[name]Persis[/name]
[name]Enid[/name]
[name]Linnea[/name]
[name]Sylvie[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Greta[/name]
My daughter was [name]Freya[/name] for ten minutes! Then I chose our other choice of [name]Phoebe[/name]! (I really love [name]BOTH[/name] names and was so hard giving one up)!
I think [name]Soren[/name] and [name]Freya[/name] are PERFECT together. I don’t think any other girls suggestion will top it.
So Boys suggestions:
[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]Oden[/name]
[name]Rafferty[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Anders[/name]
[name]Leif[/name]
[name]Finn[/name]
[name]Xavier[/name]
[name]Sterling[/name]
[name]Magnus[/name]
[name]Espen[/name]
[name]Emmet[/name]
[name]Lars[/name]
Anything that rocks your boat?
Thank you for the replies [name]Ella[/name] and Claireelise!
I really like the name [name]Anders[/name], but just cannnot bear the nn [name]Andy[/name], which is probably unavoidable. [name]Otto[/name] is reall cute and was on my short list while I was pregnant with [name]Soren[/name]. I like the idea of keeping with the Scandinavian feel of [name]Soren[/name]. [name]Leif[/name] is great, and I am attracted to [name]Rafferty[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name].
I’m pretty stuck on [name]Freya[/name]. I just love it, so it’s fair to say that it will be my girl name! I’ll find out one way or the other in a couple of weeks if I’m having a by or a girl! Can’t wait!!
I’ll definitely be back for more advice! In the meantime it’s great fun to create my lists and to be able to muse on both!
[name]Freya[/name] is just perfect. [name]Both[/name] [name]Soren[/name] and [name]Freya[/name] (or Søren and [name]Freja[/name], the original spellings) are scandinavian, so here’s some other scandinavian boys names, as well as some that I just think sound good with [name]Soren[/name] (and [name]Freya[/name].)
