My husband and I are expecting a daughter and have three names we really enjoy. Middle name is still TBD.
We like:
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] (would be called [name_f]Franny[/name_f])
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
Our toddler son is named [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Alphonse[/name_m] but goes by [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] exclusively. Our last name is two syllables and starts with N.
My fear is that each of these names is already or poised to be extremely trendy. So my questions is two-fold: which of the above names do you like best as a sister for [name_u]Alfie[/name_u]? If all three are about to be chart-toppers, might you have another recommendation?
I think that [name_u]Francis[/name_u] match [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] the best (and I adore the nickname [name_f]Franny[/name_f]). [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] and [name_f]Franny[/name_f] would make lovely siblings. Here are a few more that came to mind:
Agree - [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is the best match with [name_u]Alfie[/name_u]'s full name, and [name_f]Franny[/name_f] or [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] are cute nicknames to match his. I also think that [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is the least likely to leap up to the top of the charts since I would say that it’s not overtly feminine enough for mainstream tastes.
