My favorite of your options is [name_m]Al[/name_m]!ce, Cl@r@, and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is perfect with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] imo! [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would be lovely.
I love your daughter’s names! They pack so much style and substance. From your list, my favorite with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is the evergreen beauty [name_f]Anna[/name_f], although I also love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
Some suggestions:
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]: A spunky beauty, just like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], that reminds me of both [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] from your list. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]: : [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is a beautiful classic, like both [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is feminine and timeless. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]: [name_f]Laura[/name_f] is a feminine, versatile, internationally appealing classic that never goes out of style. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a name rich with meaning and substance, and I like that each of the first names would have an “l”. Another great vintage “l” name is [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]: Like [name_f]Anna[/name_f], but with the spunk of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and the sweetness of [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. It also pairs gorgeously with both of your middles, although I might slightly prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]: Another stunning feminine name that is evergreen and packed with history. Has the “l” from [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]: A graceful, melodic name like [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and it ties all the names together because it includes that “l” sound. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]: [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is graceful, gentle, and elegant, but also substantial and strong. Paired with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], it has such a nice melody. It also fits perfectly with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. [name_f]Angela[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]/[name_f]Angela[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]: A sweet vintage beauty that fits so well with your middles. I like the alliteration of [name_f]Angela[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] as well as the subtly shared “el” of [name_f]Angela[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
I hope this was helpful, and best of luck with your decision!
I’d say [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] work beautifully with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I love every name on your list so you really can’t go wrong. My top 3 with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] I think go best with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I’d do with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I think if I had to pick just 1 it’d be [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a standout amongst the options. I also think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] or [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would be good, but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is by far my favorite with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I voted for [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as having that late Victorian/Edwardian vintage feel along w/[name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f], plus each girl’s name will end w/a different sound. To me [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] doesn’t have the same vintage feel as [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f], but [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] does. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]'s sweet but seems too informal. Like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] doesn’t have the same feel as [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f]; [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] seems more rollicking than tea-&-crumpets; & [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are just NMS.
Other Victorian/Edwardian names that to me go well w/[name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f]:
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is my favorite with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f], but I also like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] here.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is miles ahead of them all for me though.
I think both [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would be an adorable baby sister name and matches perfectly with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I agree with most pp that [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are the best fit with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. And I love them both! [name_f]Jane[/name_f] also works nicely, and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] could work, though it’s a little livelier than the other two.
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] are too plain in this set, I think. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are too stylistically different. And [name_f]Anna[/name_f] shares too many sounds with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I’m loving the suggestions of [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Angela[/name_f], and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! I’ll run them by DH and show him these poll results to see what he thinks. Any more suggestions are very helpful too so keep them coming!
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]?
