A sister for Andy, a mountain of names!

Hello yall!
We are expecting our second child, a daughter, and I have been spending countless hours obsessing over names. I think I need some new perspectives! Our first child, a son, is named [name]Andrew[/name] [name]William[/name], nn [name]Andy[/name], and I’d love for the names to go together well. My tops are:

[name]Ellie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Elanor[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], nn [name]Ellie[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Paige[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Paige[/name]
[name]Emeline[/name]/[name]Eveline[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Colette[/name] (no mn yet), nn [name]Ettie[/name] or [name]Lettie[/name]

What do you think? I really like names that are sweet for little girls but will still be romantic and pretty for a young woman. If it helps, we have a 2-syllable last name, starting with B. Can’t wait to hear favorites, suggestions or whatever other advice you all might have!

great list! Here are my opinions:

[name]Ellie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Elanor[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], nn [name]Ellie[/name] – [name]Ellie[/name] is way too popular for my personal taste (it seems to be a nickname for everything right now, lol!) I also prefer [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Elinor[/name] for the spelling of [name]Elanor[/name]. [name]Ellie[/name] is as cute as it gets, but I am getting tired of hearing it (that being said, I think [name]Ellie[/name] is more popular in my area than in most areas!)

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – love this!

[name]Rose[/name] [name]Alice[/name] – ok. [name]Rose[/name] has always been a little bland to me, probably because I am always hearing it as a “filler” middle name.

[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Paige[/name] – [name]Sophie[/name] is too popular for me, and I know too many dogs named [name]Sophie[/name] – so that ruined it for me. I think the name itself is darling, I could just never use it.

[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Paige[/name] – very cute! I love [name]Lucy[/name], I have always had problems seeing the name on an adult, though. Probably because I can’t get the [name]Charlie[/name] [name]Brown[/name] association out of my head.

[name]Emeline[/name]/[name]Eveline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] – I love them both!

[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – I love [name]Scarlett[/name]. I don’t know if I like it with [name]Andy[/name], though.

[name]Colette[/name] (no mn yet), nn [name]Ettie[/name] or [name]Lettie[/name] – I love [name]Colette[/name], and the nicknames are too cute! [name]Colette[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be adorable.

[name]Ellie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Elanor[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], nn [name]Ellie[/name] - [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] would be better options.
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - Very nice and I think [name]Norah[/name] can be spelled with an “h” if you prefer
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Alice[/name] - [name]Alice[/name] [name]Rose[/name] flows better than this name.
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Paige[/name] - OK but [name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] are very popular
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Paige[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this combo.
[name]Emeline[/name]/[name]Eveline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] - [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Eveline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] are lovely names. [name]Evangeline[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name]) is one of my fave names for a girl.
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - Not a fan of [name]Scarlett[/name] but this name flows well
[name]Colette[/name] (no mn yet), nn [name]Ettie[/name] or [name]Lettie[/name] - [name]Colette[/name] is ok but I really love [name]Camille[/name] as an alternative

Other names
[name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Lottie[/name] or [name]Charlie[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name] / [name]Marguerite[/name] nn [name]Daisy[/name] or [name]Margot[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name] nn Fliss
[name]Rosemary[/name] / [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name] nn [name]Penny[/name]

Thanks guys! I’m pretty sure it’s now narrowed down to [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Nora[/name]. My husband likes [name]Lucy[/name] the best because it’s the most mainstream, though I’m very much considering calling her [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Paige[/name] as a double name. I have a double name myself, [name]Mary[/name] [name]Claire[/name], and I have always enjoyed the feel of double names. [name]Paige[/name] is the front runner as a middle name for me because it is the name of my mother. We have also considered some combination of [name]Paige[/name] and [name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name] to honor both of our mothers. His mother goes by [name]Tess[/name] as a nn for [name]Teresa[/name], but we’re not really thrilled with [name]Teresa[/name] as a name.

Also, kind of as a wild card, what do you all think of the name [name]Ilia[/name] (ILL-ee-ah)? I think it’s pretty and unique but it really has me hooked on the strong spiritual meaning “My God is the [name]Lord[/name].” Thoughts?

My sister-in-law (brother’s wife) has a brother named [name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Andy[/name]. Her name is [name]Katie[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] and she has a sister named [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. I think their names all flow well together. Of your list, my favorites are
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name]- I think this one works best with [name]Andrew[/name] [name]William[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Paige[/name]

I think royal-inspired names would be perfect with [name]Andrew[/name] [name]William[/name]. What about

I love the name [name]Ilia[/name]! Very pretty and unique.
