Looking for a sister name for [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. I like the pattern we’ve started where the names end with [vowel]-[double consonant]-[vowel], and 3 syllables, so hoping to continue it, though I’m still open to other beautiful names that match that don’t follow that pattern! I like these old-fashioned names that have the [name_u]French[/name_u] spelling/sound, but also work in [name_f]English[/name_f].
Some examples we thought of include:
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_m]Can[/name_m] you suggest others?
[name_u]Happy[/name_u] for any suggestions even if they don’t follow the pattern!
Gabrielle is nice but rhymes with Annabelle too much for me, and Marianne is wonderful but… It is basically the same name as Annabelle (Annabelle is Anne + Belle, Marianne is Marie + Anne).
Some other ideas:
Joséphine
Madeleine
Rosalie
Adélaïde
Béatrice
Faustine
Clémentine
Louise
Éleonore
Romane
Capucine
Albane
Blanche
Elisabeth
Séraphine
Violette
Daphné
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] was my first thought after reading your title!
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], and…
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_u]Camille[/name_u]
[name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Clarisse[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
I don’t think [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] would work, as Annabelle and Garbrielle sound pretty rhymey and matchy! I think [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f] could we super sweet, [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] & [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f]! However, my favourite is definitely [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]! I just like the way she sounds and sits well [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] & [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] all sound super sweet and match well as sisters but aren’t too matchy at all!
The only suggestion I have is [name_u]Camille[/name_u] and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] with sisters [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]! [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] & [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] all sound so sweet and great as sisters!
I feel like [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] are too similar to [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] for me. They’re both lovely, but that wouldn’t work. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] works well, and I really like it!
Before clicking on your post I instantly thought of [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] as a sister for [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] works really well too! Another one that came to mind is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
Your daughters have gorgeous names! I love [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] with your daughters names. [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] rhymes with [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and I think even [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] or [name_f]Gisella[/name_f] would be too similar. [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] is lovely, but a bit matchy-matchy with [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. I guess it depends how you pronounce [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f].
I’m suggesting double letter names like
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] / [name_f]Emmelina[/name_f] / [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f]
Susanne/ [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] (same thing as with [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], but perhaps it’s not a problem at all)
[name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
[name_f]Pricilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Yvonne[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]
[name_f]Jovienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Rowenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Aimee[/name_f]
