[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_f]Salome[/name_f] is stunning!
Here are my thoughts on the list:
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] Leonie-This is quite nice & fairly interesting as a combo even though [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] & [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] are not my favorites. I do really like [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] though & it’s perfect w/Annora. [name_u]Strong[/name_u] yet super feminine. Simple but unique. I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] a lot in general, but [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lila[/name_f] feels like a bit of a stretch. I don’t have a better idea for a nn, except maybe [name_f]Dottie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Arlo-I like [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]. Another example of an interesting, strong, feminine name that you don’t hear too often but isn’t terribly complicated. I don’t love the mns, & find [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] way too boyish. I like [name_f]Annora[/name_f] ‘Nora’ & [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] ‘Polly’ for sisters.
[name_f]Isola[/name_f] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] or [name_f]Keira[/name_f] Isola-I feel like [name_f]Isola[/name_f] should have a ‘d’. It feels awkward. [name_f]May[/name_f] just be because I know an [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] said Ee-zol-duh. Either way, the nn [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] would be cute! But if you do [name_f]Isolda[/name_f], you could do the nn Idige. Which is adorable & more interesting. I don’t care for [name_f]Keira[/name_f] much, even though I like [name_f]Ciara[/name_f]. I’m picky about spellings! I would even prefer [name_f]Kira[/name_f].
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] Elise-Juliet is just lovely. Romantic but sweet.
[name_f]Trina[/name_f] Elena-I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Trina[/name_f]. It feels like a mean girl in an 80s movie. Not sure why!
[name_f]Zella[/name_f] Milada-Zella is so lovely. Spunky & glamorous. Simple but not popular. I’ve never heard [name_f]Milada[/name_f], but it’s kind of cool.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] Artemis-I like all other ‘Is’ names & I like other ‘dora’ names, but [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] always sounds heavy to me. Also, this is probably too rhyme-y w/Nora.
[name_f]Sharon[/name_f] Emiliana-Sharon is not my favorite. It just feels pretty dated.
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] Wren-Tabitha is sweet & lovely w/Annora. I know a little [name_f]Tabby[/name_f], & it’s just so fun & spunky. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is not usually my favorite, but I really like this combo.
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] Alice-I don’t know. [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] is one of those names that feels too masculine for a girl & too feminine for a boy.
[name_f]Madalena[/name_f] [name_f]Chiara[/name_f] Vivien-Yes, [name_f]Chiara[/name_f]! I like that spelling more than [name_f]Keira[/name_f] too. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though maybe they’re pronounced a little differently. I don’t know that I like [name_f]Mada[/name_f] that much. It doesn’t sound that pretty to me. I like [name_f]Lena[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Silvia[/name_f] Enid-Ooh, that’s pretty. I’m not usually into [name_f]Enid[/name_f], but this combo really vintage & smart & lovely.
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] Leonie-I like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] a lot, but it’s too close to [name_f]Annora[/name_f].
[name_f]Julieta[/name_f] Apolline-Hm. I prefer just [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. This feels like it would just get mistaken for [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] anyway.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] Aveline-I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Aveline[/name_f]. Not sure why. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is super cute though. And I love all of the nn options.
Gemma-I like it & I like it w/Annora. It’s sweet & has nice gem imagery. Like it’s simple but sparkly.
Delia-I can’t decide if I like this or [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] more. I think [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] feels a bit more substantial somehow.
Delilah-It’s super popular in my area. I feel like it’s kind of snobby sounding too. Not nearly as elegant as [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] & [name_f]Delia[/name_f].
Willa-Really nice & smart & warm. I think that [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Willa[/name_f] would be amazing as a sister to [name_f]Annora[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f].
Imogene-I think I prefer [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. It feels sleeker. And I love the nn [name_f]Idgie[/name_f] here.
Arden-I’m not a huge fan of this one. It seems a bit masculine.
Twila-Not my favorite.
Lana-Hm. This is a name that I should like but can’t get into. Not sure why.
Malena-That’s kind of pretty & feels nice w/Annora.
Lottie/Lotte-I don’t know. I mean, I feel like they should both be a nn for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]? Would [name_f]Colette[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] work?
Leni-Eleanor/Eleanora/Eleni/Elena/Helen/Helena/Helene/Ellen…all sorts of [name_f]Leni[/name_f] names! I suppose the ‘nor’ names wouldn’t work. But [name_f]Annora[/name_f] & [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] is my favorite.
Natalia-Something about it feels dark to me, but I don’t know why. I like the nn [name_u]Tali[/name_u].
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
