Hello, I’m new to Nameberry, and expecting a baby girl in [name]April[/name]. With a big brother named [name]Boston[/name], we’re having major difficulties figuring out what to name the new peanut. Open for all suggestions. I’m not sure where to go, kind of would like it to sound good with [name]Boston[/name]…but perhaps please don’t suggest any city names, I’m worried that may be too tacky?
[name]Do[/name] you have any middle name ideas? Any contenders to provide a clue into your preferences for girls? Does [name]Boston[/name] have a middle name?
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Paige[/name]?
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Teagan[/name]?
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]?
If you dont want to do city names (i agree it might be a bit much) you could do something like other2-3 syllable names that end with n as well like [name]Teagan[/name] above. I might not go as traditional as [name]Katherine[/name] but there are a lot on more modern girls names that end in n.
Alternatively you could do another B name instead.
either would help the girl’s name feel like a set with the boy’s.
I have a [name]Boston[/name]! It was hard to find something that compares to it (because it is such an awesome name!) but we ended up naming his sister [name]Piper[/name]. Easy to say, easy to spell, fun, and spunky.
[name]Boston[/name]'s middle name is [name]Matthew[/name], after my brother. I was thinking that it would be cute to honor [name]Jake[/name] (peanut’s dad)'s only sister (I do not have any sisters…her name is [name]Andrea[/name]. But I have found that that name doesn’t blend well with very many first names. So, we’re open to many different middle names… no ‘fillers’ though (ie. [name]Rose[/name], [name]Lynn[/name], [name]Marie[/name]…etc…)
A few names i’ve come across and liked are:
[name]Bayleigh[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name]
[name]Eden[/name]
Mayleigh
[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Adalyn[/name]
[name]Holland[/name]
Daddy is really liking [name]Stella[/name]…
i just remember when we named our son, [name]Boston[/name], it really left an impact and no other name came close to giving me the feeling that i got with that name. I’m stressing a little bit about not having found “the one” yet for baby girl!
Oh and perhaps [name]Mireya[/name] and [name]Leila[/name]… [name]Sidonia[/name] is the Dutch way of saying [name]Sydney[/name]…Pretty cool and kind of keeps to your theme-but in a secret way…HA!
[name]Paige[/name] was the first name that popped to mind to go with [name]Boston[/name]. [name]Boston[/name] is a fantastc name!
Others I like are:
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Hadleigh[/name]
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Cambria[/name]
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Augustine[/name]
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Blythe[/name] (loving the name [name]Blythe[/name] right now)
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Dahlia[/name]
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Boston[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name]
You could use [name]Drew[/name] instead of [name]Andrea[/name] and even use it as a first name. [name]Drew[/name] Mayleigh or [name]Drew[/name] [name]Adalyn[/name] work well and [name]Boston[/name] and [name]Drew[/name] make a nice sibset. Or you could use [name]Drew[/name] as a mn-- [name]Stella[/name] [name]Drew[/name], [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Drew[/name], etc. Here are some other possibilities that you might like:
[name]How[/name] unique are you trying to go? I like the name [name]Astoria[/name] and think it goes well with [name]Boston[/name]… They’re both city names!
I like [name]Eden[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] and pp suggestions of [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Maggie[/name]. [name]Boston[/name] and [name]Maggie[/name] sounds adorable to me and lots of ways to get to that nn.
