Looking for a girls name that compliments it’s (we’re not finding out sex) brothers name.
I adore [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], but not sure if it’s too close… They’d go by [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] and [name_f]Maddy[/name_f]/[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]…
If [name_m]Edison[/name_m] was a girl he would have been [name_f]Lila[/name_f], although a very close friend has since called her daughter [name_f]Lara[/name_f].
Middle name will be [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], surname is single syllable and starts with P, so would prefer a multi syllable first name!

I’m confused as to why you can’t use [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is lovely, and I don’t see what your friend’s daughter [name_f]Lara[/name_f] has to do with anything.

If you went with [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], you could call her [name_f]Della[/name_f] 
What about [name_f]Lilla[/name_f]? It doesn’t sound as similar to me as [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lara[/name_f]. I agree [name_f]Maddy[/name_f]/[name_m]Eddie[/name_m] is a tongue twister.

I would go with [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]! I don’t think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lara[/name_f] are very similar. The sounds in the middle are totally different. If you want to go with [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] though, I’d second the suggestion of using a different nickname like [name_f]Della[/name_f].

I also love [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], which brings to mind [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. [name_f]Lola[/name_f] would also be cute, [name_f]Lola[/name_f] and [name_m]Eddie[/name_m]…adorbs.

[name_f]Lola[/name_f] is super cute too! [name_m]Will[/name_m] run it by hubby. I feel like naming a girl this time is ten times harder, yet last time we struggled so much with a boys name (as we didn’t want anything too popular!) this time a boys name was really easy!!
