Hello berries! Looking for name ideas for baby #3. We just found out we’re having a girl! Our second daughter .
Our oldest son’s name is Griffin Turner, and our daughter’s name is Willow Colette.
We didn’t intend to have a double letter in both of their names—it just sort of happened like that, so this baby’s name doesn’t need to match in that way. We also feel cautious about another nature name if we have a girl, even though we love names like Juniper and Clover. We don’t want to go over the top with too much nature. We like the epic, ethereal feel of the first names, and the vintage, slightly British-leaning of their middle names. We’d be happy with that sort of feel (or more of a vintage feel) to this baby’s first name too.

[name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] are my favorites from your current list with [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u]. [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_u]Ember[/name_u], and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] are nice, but might create too much of a nature theme.
As a sister to [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u] I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] are lovely. In an effort to help you shorten your list, [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u] feel like newer generation names alongside [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] (especially if one day gets shortened to [name_f]Lil[/name_f] feels too close to [name_u]Willow[/name_u] and perhaps [name_u]Ilia[/name_u] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] although they aren’t quite as close.
Your two have such lovely names. They both feel so elegant and soaring—like a very grounded fantasy protagonist. I love the feeling, and I think “epic ethereal” is exactly right. For a sister, I think Pippa, June (!!), Lyra, Cecily, and Lila are my top five; they are perfection.

I personally wouldn’t use the “Lil” names like [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Alia[/name_f], [name_u]Ilia[/name_u], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], and probably not [name_f]Luna[/name_f] or [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. That’s a big chop but (a) I think they encroach on [name_u]Willow[/name_u] - who may want to use [name_u]Will[/name_u], [name_f]Lil[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Lilly[/name_f], [name_f]Lois[/name_f] etc for fun nicknames; and (b) with the exception of [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], they don’t feel quite as substantial/hefty or enduring as [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u]. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] especially feels a bit young and possibly pet-namely to me, and I wouldn’t want “ill” in my name (Ilia). [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] aren’t as good on nicknames - not sure if that’s a factor for you. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is very pretty though and with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] would be my top picks of that group.
I like [name_u]Ember[/name_u] - but more it is quite a funny mix with [name_u]Willow[/name_u] (because of the whole fire plus trees not going together). [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is super zippy - I would probably use [name_u]Piper[/name_u] nn [name_f]Pippi[/name_f] or Philippa/Penelope nn [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] but I think [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is a good standalone in a way I don’t think [name_f]Luna[/name_f] for eg is. It feels stronger and more adult friendly to me. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is nice but if it’s too on theme, then [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] - which I really like anyway - or else (and this would be my fave) [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]!
So of your list: [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] or [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] are my picks or [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] if you want to forge ahead with a [name_f]Lil[/name_f] name.

You could consider using [name_f]Clover[/name_f] or [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (or another nature name) for a middle if you opt for a non-nature first.
I really like [name_u]Ember[/name_u] with your sibset! [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u], and [name_u]Ember[/name_u]. It sounds so nice without anything matching too much
I also think that [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] are strong options!
