A Sister for Henry

Hello there,

This is my first post, although I am always enjoying reading others! We are expecting our second child this [name]Spring[/name] (a GIRL!) and have a son named [name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name]. I’m looking for some name suggestions that would have a similar feel for his sister and would love some suggestions. I prefer at least two syllables because our last name is only one. Right now some names I like are [name]Lydia[/name], Juilette, [name]Elinore[/name], [name]Amelia[/name]… My husband likes [name]Nora[/name]. Nothing has struck me as just right. Please Help!

[name]Lydia[/name] is darling with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name]!

Some more ideas for you…let me know if anything appeals…
[name]Sonia[/name]
[name]Camilla[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Leila[/name]
[name]Priscilla[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Marina[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Samantha[/name]
[name]Miriam[/name]
[name]Josie[/name]
[name]Frances[/name]
[name]Anabel[/name]
[name]Caitlin[/name]

My first thought was [name]Eleanor[/name]. Others that ‘fit’ for me are [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Lucinda[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Matilda[/name]. Good luck!

I like [name]Lydia[/name] best from your list. [name]Clara[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] would all work too.

What about [name]Eleanora[/name]. That way your husband can use [name]Nora[/name] as a nn. Very classy yest the “a” at the end adds an extra bit of femininity.

[name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name] is such a darling name!

The first name that popped into my head was [name]Sally[/name]. It is such a sweet under used name. [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Sally[/name] just sound like the sweetest sibling set.

Your husbands choice of [name]Nora[/name] makes me think of [name]Nola[/name]. It combines sounds form [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Nora[/name]. [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Nola[/name] is a great combination.

Some other names I think you may like based on the other names you like:
[name]Cecilia[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name] - I have not heard of anyone using this one in a while
[name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Francine[/name] - I love this with [name]Henry[/name].
[name]Lily[/name] - I know a [name]Henry[/name] with a little sister [name]Lily[/name] and think this is super sweet.
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] this helps!

What about…

[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Nora[/name]/[name]Eleanor[/name] (I love this!)

[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Nora[/name] is a beautiful name. I love it. [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Nora[/name] Name and [name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name] Name. Those names all sound fantastic with [name]Henry[/name]! My favorites would be [name]Amelia[/name] or [name]Lydia[/name]

I like [name]Eleanor[/name] with [name]Henry[/name] best, but prefer this spelling. You could use the nn [name]Nora[/name] with [name]Eleanor[/name] too. Or, for something a little different, what about [name]Alienor[/name]?

Other names that would work well with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name]:
[name]Anais[/name]
[name]Kathryn[/name]
[name]Annabelle[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] (or [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name])

Oh, [name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name] is such a great name! As others have suggestsed, have you considered using [name]Elinore[/name] (I prefer [name]Eleanor[/name]) nn [name]Nora[/name]? That would give you something you and your husband both love, and [name]Elinore[/name] ([name]Eleanor[/name]) and [name]Nora[/name] both go very well with [name]Henry[/name]. From your list, I also really like [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] ([name]Juliet[/name]), individually and as sisters for [name]Henry[/name]. Other ideas:

[name]Adele[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Anne[/name] (or [name]Anna[/name])
[name]Camille[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name] (or [name]Katherine[/name], or [name]Kate[/name])
[name]Claire[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Lillian[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Madeline[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Mary[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Vivian[/name]

I second that [name]Henry[/name] [name]Peter[/name] is a great name! I love previous suggestions of [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name].
