I think [name]Matilda[/name] is a great option for you! [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] sounds really nice and it goes well with your last name.
I don’t much like the name [name]Victoria[/name]. [name]Violet[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Alice[/name], and [name]Lily[/name] all sound too close to [name]Isla[/name].
I voted for [name]Violet[/name] but [name]Rory[/name] ([name]Victoria[/name]) was also a great sibset option, as is [name]Tessa[/name]. I like that these 3 do not sound too close [name]Isla[/name] at all. I think [name]Tori[/name] from [name]Victoria[/name] would be terrific with [name]Isla[/name] as well.
I voted for [name]Juliet[/name]. I would have picked [name]Victoria[/name] but I don’t like [name]Rory[/name] or nicknames in general. [name]Alice[/name] is also quite nice but not as special and a bit hard to say with your last name. Stylistically, I think [name]Lily[/name] goes best with [name]Isla[/name], but I don’t like [name]Lily[/name].
I voted for [name]Violet[/name] as I love [name]Violet[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] and I think it fits perfectly with [name]Isla[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. But I really, really love [name]Lily[/name], [name]Tilly[/name], and [name]Tessa[/name] (although I prefer just [name]Tess[/name]), and I quite like [name]Anna[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], and [name]Alice[/name], as well.
I voted for [name]Juliet[/name], but that was before I read the Mn choice. The 3-3 syllable combo isn’t doing it for me. With [name]Caroline[/name] as the middle, I prefer [name]Victoria[/name].
I voted for [name]Alice[/name]. I think that [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] sound great together! Although I do see how [name]Alice[/name] kind of slides into Sehorn, it doesn’t really bother me. [name]IMO[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] goes very nicely with all of the FN you picked out.
Also, I noticed a lot of people are voting for [name]Violet[/name]. I usually love [name]Violet[/name] as much as the next person, but I think it just sounds too similar to [name]Isla[/name]; they both kind of have the “aisle” in it… Violet and Isla. I guess it isn’t bothering others, but it really stuck out to me. I hope that made sense!
I think [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] go well together. [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] are also a nice combo. I had the same dilemma, I have twin girls [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Freya[/name]. I fell in love with [name]Isla[/name] and had a heck of a time finding something to ‘go’ with it that I also loved.
Thanks everyone! I also prefer [name]Tess[/name] to [name]Tessa[/name] and we’d probably go with [name]Tess[/name] as a nn. I’m a little surprised with all the [name]Juliet[/name] love, but in a good way. I do have the strong-I concern with [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] as well … Lots of IIIIIII. Still looking for feedback!
I was set to vote for [name]Juliet[/name] till I saw [name]Tessa[/name]!! [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is fantastic! [name]Love[/name] it! Also love [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Anna[/name], [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Lily[/name]. The only thing with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] is they both might sound too similar with [name]Isla[/name].
Trying to decide between [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], and [name]Tessa[/name].
[name]Isla[/name] sounds classic to me, which is just what these three are.
Although, [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] sound very similiar. [name]Eloise[/name] is out.
[name]Victoria[/name] is a little pretensious (is that how you spell it?) next to [name]Isla[/name]. And [name]Rory[/name] sounds masculine next to it.
[name]Tessa[/name] is the classic, not to uptight name that doesn’t sound similiar to [name]Isla[/name]. Winner for me
[name]Violet[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] sound sooooo close to me! I almost voted for it because I love [name]Violet[/name], but then I said “[name]Violet[/name] and [name]Isla[/name]” and changed my mind.
I voted [name]Tessa[/name]. [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] are adorable together, both have that soft, laid back, pretty vibe, anchored by classic middle names [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name]. What a perfect sibset! Plus [name]Tessa[/name] is probably my fave name on your list anyway.
[name]Juliet[/name] would be second, it plays up [name]Isla[/name]'s romantic feel to me.
[name]Ellie[/name], [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] all sound too close to [name]Isla[/name] for me. [name]Alice[/name] you could maybe get a way with, but not [name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] in my opinion.
[name]Hallie[/name] and [name]Rory[/name] just sound a lot trendier, and [name]Rory[/name] is all boy for me so I can’t picture it with sweet, girly [name]Isla[/name]. If I heard [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Rory[/name], I’d definitely think brother and sister!
That leaves [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Tilly[/name]. [name]Matilda[/name] nn [name]Tilly[/name] is adorable and definitely my third choice. [name]Lily[/name] is a lovely name, and matches well with [name]Isla[/name], but definitely feels overused these days. So my vote is:
Some nice names! [name]Isla[/name] is not super traditional so I would personally rule out ones that are traditional:
[name]Rory[/name] ([name]Victoria[/name])
[name]Anna[/name]
Names I liked but I felt didn’t match soundwise:
[name]Violet[/name] has a long “I” same as [name]Isla[/name]
[name]Ellie[/name] ([name]Eloise[/name]) [name]Both[/name] have the “l” am seem to sound too similar to me BUT if nn was [name]LuLu[/name] I would choose this as #1.
[name]Juliet[/name] - while I like the name in theory, I feel it would possibly be teased
[name]Hallie[/name] - just not as pretty as [name]Isla[/name]
Names I think work well:
[name]Lily[/name] -I like it. Could work. Has 4 letters the same as [name]Isla[/name], both have “l” and “i” within those 4 letters, which would potentially set you up for next time (eg if you have another girl some time).
[name]Tilly[/name] ([name]Matilda[/name]) - I like it. The “a” ending is same as [name]Isla[/name], so not my #1 choice. But good.
[name]Tessa[/name] - like this name. Better than [name]Matilda[/name] as it is short like [name]Isla[/name].
My #1 pick:
[name]Alice[/name]- short and simple, the ‘l’ is the same as [name]Isla[/name] but the sound is different enough that it has a similar vibe.
