pheobe imogen!
[name]Susannah[/name], [name]Susannah[/name], [name]Susannah[/name]. I love [name]Phoebe[/name] - I really do - but [name]Susannah[/name] is just so stunning, and would sound ideal with [name]Jane[/name]. And if uniqueness is a major factor for you, [name]Susannah[/name] hasn’t been in the US top 1000 since 1979. [name]Laura[/name] Wattenberg summed up [name]Susannah[/name]'s appeal perfectly in a blog post on the [name]Baby[/name] Name [name]Wizard[/name]: “If you’re hunting for that elusive Sasquatch of names – a name that everybody knows, everybody likes, and nobody uses – you’ve just found it.”
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name], its absolutely perfect
My goodness, we are like-minded namers. My husband is coming around to [name]Jane[/name] and I’m so excited!
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Imogen[/name]: quirky, cute, British. [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] together is a little more intellectual-sounding, more quirky [name]Brit[/name] (while remaining very accessible in the US). [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] is actually my own personal favorite daughter sibset.
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name]: I love this too. [name]Susannah[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] is a little more homespun to me–it has an American colonial feel. Very classic. [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Susannah[/name] are more alike, if matching styles is important to you.
I like [name]Phoebe[/name] better because [name]Susannah[/name] (which i [name]DO[/name] love) seems like a whole lot of name next to [name]Jane[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are lovely though
I prefer [name]Phoebe[/name]. [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is gorgeous though.
my sister is [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] which I think is a great match with [name]Jane[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] (which is stunning)
This is why I love Nameberry, everyone is so kind and helpful! PS thought it would be humorous to mention: our last name starts with a W, so middle names have driven me crazy, I end up having to avoid most vowel names in the middle or end up with initials like PEW, POW, PAW, SAW or SOW
[name]Both[/name] names are gorgeous so you win either way.
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is my favorite! [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Susannah[/name] would be adorable as sisters!
[name]Jane[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] is absolutely lovely. [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] gets my vote all the way.
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] also gets my vote!
I love [name]Jane[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]. I think [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] goes really beautifully with her name but personally I like [name]Phoebe[/name] more. Still, for your purposes I think [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] would get my vote.
[name]Just[/name] wanted to say thanks again to everyone for their kind words and advice!
I think [name]Susannah[/name] is a long name next to [name]Jane[/name]. My vote is for [name]Phoebe[/name].
[name]Jane[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] and [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] will make a stunning sibling set.
I am a mother to a [name]Jane[/name], too! So lovely!
My vote is for [name]Susannah[/name]. It just feels more in line with [name]Jane[/name] than [name]Phoebe[/name] (though that name is on our short list for our next girl).
Congratulations & good luck!
[name]Both[/name] names are fabulous, but [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Frances[/name] leads for miles for me - it is such a classic combination and [name]Pheobe[/name] and [name]Imogen[/name] are getting rather popular (in the UK where I am anyway).
Great choices!
I love the combo of [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Phoebe[/name]! I just think [name]Phoebe[/name] livens [name]Jane[/name] up in a way [name]Susannah[/name] doesn’t.
I still find a lot of [name]Susan[/name] names very dated. My moms name is [name]Suzanne[/name] and if you ever look at her yearbook there was a gazillion Suzannes, Susans, Suzies, Susies, Suzannas etc. I cant get past that.
I am sure it is a nice name and if I had to pick [name]Susannah[/name] is probably the nicest variation of it.
My vote is for [name]Phoebe[/name]. The only strong association with [name]Phoebe[/name] is the character from Friends. I can get past that much easier. It is a pleasant and happy sounding name with a great meaning.
Gosh, it’s a hard choice. The poll is neck to neck. I chose [name]Phoebe[/name] because [name]Susannah[/name] seems long next to [name]Jane[/name]. [name]Both[/name] names are great though. [name]Susannah[/name] is on my list. [name]Suzy[/name] is a cute nickname…I think it has a mod/retro vibe that should be cool again.
