[name]Hi[/name] there berries! I’ve been a long time lurker on this site, plus a frequent poster at another name site and have come to you for some fresh, unbiased opinions on a middle name for the daughter I’m expecting a few weeks from now! My DH and I have two sons, [name]Judah[/name] [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Levi[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]. We were both raised very Jewish (though we are less so now) so we’ve stuck to using OT names. This daughter will be named [name]Ruth[/name]. We like less common (so not [name]Jacob[/name]/[name]Sarah[/name]/[name]Noah[/name] etc) names but ones that are still familiar. I’d love some feedback on what you think a great middle name would be for [name]Ruth[/name]. It must be Hebrew, Yiddish or Old Testament.
We are both from VERY large families (I’m one of six, DH is one of eight) so there are a good deal of names we cannot use. None of the basics ([name]Sara[/name]/[name]Rachel[/name]/[name]Leah[/name]), plus we can’t use: [name]Baila[/name], [name]Malkah[/name], [name]Adah[/name], [name]Shaina[/name], Simah or [name]Esther[/name] (all siblings of DH and I).
[name]Love[/name] your sons’ names! [name]Ruth[/name] is adorable and definitely ready for a comeback. Here are some mns I think go well with [name]Ruth[/name].
[name]Ruth[/name] [name]Adira[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name] [name]Amira[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name] [name]Eden[/name]/[name]Ayden[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name] Emunah
[name]Ruth[/name] [name]Kelila[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name] Neama (A play off the story of [name]Ruth[/name] and [name]Naomi[/name])
