[name]Gwyneth[/name] is a beautiful name, but a little ornate and Welsh compared to light, international [name]Nina[/name]. I think [name]Laura[/name] is a perfect match.
[name]Laura[/name] is a great pick for [name]Nina[/name]'s sister…not as elaborate as [name]Savannah[/name] nor as showy as [name]Gwyneth[/name].
[name]Savannah[/name] is a beautiful name as is [name]Nina[/name] and they sound so sweet together!
Wow, you this community really knows their stuff! This is the first time I’ve posted on here. It is great to hear the reasons behind the choices! An earlier kind member said that [name]Gwyneth[/name]/[name]Gwen[/name] & [name]Nina[/name] would sound very sweet together. I did not consider the international/welsh idea and the other responses are thinkers for me too!
I think [name]Gwenyth[/name] and [name]Nina[/name] sound perfect together. [name]Laura[/name] would have been my second choice I don’t hear either of them very often whereas I hear [name]Savannah[/name] all the time
[name]Lauren[/name], especially that it has cute nicknames; [name]Laura[/name] [name]Lili[/name] [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Lolita[/name] [name]Luna[/name] etc
I second the notion that [name]Gwen[/name] and [name]Nina[/name] sound divine together. [name]Laura[/name] feels a bit plain next to the energetic [name]Nina[/name]. I’d suggest using [name]Lorelei[/name] as a spunkier alternative that would leave you with [name]Laura[/name] as a nickname! I’ve come to loathe [name]Savannah[/name].
I voted for [name]Gwen[/name], but if [name]Lorelei[/name] was an option I’d vote for her instead!
Something that is also a bit exotic would be a good match. I voted for [name]Gwyneth[/name], but I am not a fan of [name]Gwen[/name]. Plus it doesn’t make sense. It’s [name]Gwyneth[/name] not [name]Gweneth[/name].
I’ll have to run [name]Lorelai[/name] by the hubs! And I see the point about [name]Gwen[/name]…I read that [name]Gwyn[/name] is supposedly for a guy. Maybe changing though! Thank you for all the great feedback!
Here’s another vote for [name]Gwyneth[/name]/[name]Gwen[/name]. I’ve recently started to love the name because my daughter has a friend named [name]Gwen[/name] (not [name]Gwyneth[/name], though, just [name]Gwen[/name]) in her preschool class this year. I think it sounds great with [name]Nina[/name] and it’s more interesting than [name]Laura[/name] or [name]Savannah[/name]. It’s also more versatile than [name]Savannah[/name] (can’t imagine anyone older than me with that name…)
