We are expecting baby girl number 2 in a few months time and cannot agree on a name! It’s driving me crazy!

I am revisiting this post as our top names have changed since I posted a couple of months ago…I really need some advice?!

Our first daughter is [name]Violet[/name] [name]Eve[/name] so we’d love an equally beautiful name to compliment.

Our current favourites (in no particular order):

*The names [name]Lola[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name] are a little contentious as I have a niece named [name]Layla[/name]. My brother & sister-in-law don’t have a problem with either of these names being used (she thought it was quite sweet…) I love both of these names but i’m just not sure…

Any feedback or alternate suggestions (first & middle names) would be wonderful! Thank you xx

I really love all of our favourites but the two that really resonate the most with me are [name]Lola[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] & [name]Estelle[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]. My husbands favourite is [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name].

I think [name]Juliet[/name] is lovely but just I don’t like the potential nicknames that will most likely be used e.g. [name]Julie[/name], [name]Jules[/name]- I also don’t particularly like that [name]Violet[/name] & [name]Juliet[/name] have the same ending- but that’s not such a bad thing.

[name]Lola[/name] is great because it can’t really be shortened and [name]Estelle[/name] has some gorgeous nicknames e.g. [name]Estee[/name], [name]Stella[/name], [name]Elle[/name]

Maybe we’ll take all 3 suggestions into the delivery room and hope that once we meet her one name in particular will really stand out!? :slight_smile: xxx

[name]Love[/name] the name [name]Violet[/name]. It’s actually at the top of my list. From your list, I like [name]Lola[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] the best. The only thing I’d change about it is the spelling of [name]Juliet[/name]. I’d spell it [name]Juliette[/name] just because it looks more complete and just looks nicer [name]IMO[/name].

[name]Just[/name] wanted to add that I agree with violet and [name]Juliet[/name] being a bit matchy. Not the ideal sib set but still doable. Tough decision ahead!
